1:16, 'Nice is a tiny paradise' ?? Nice is the 5th largest city in france, around 500,000 people. Very expensive too, not a place to choose if you're on a budget Also Annecy has direct TGV connections to Paris, around 4 hours. Annecy to Geneva, about 1 hour by train, not too bad considering how beautiful Annecy is. If you choose Toulouse you have easy access to THE PYRENEES NOT the Alpes! Toulouse to the ski station Axe les Thermes is around 2 hours by train or car for example. If you just want to hike in the Pyrenees you can get there in about an hour.

Please, learn proper pronunciation. It’s “Ann-ssi” not “Ann-ess-ee.”
