Joie, how do you say "thank you" for unlocking a creative block that has been in my life for years? I am literally in tears right now because of this tutorial and how you broke it down into simple terms that just opened a door inside of me. My head is spinning right now with all kinds of ideas because you made it simple. You see, I need structure in my life, and I need to understand the rhythm and the rhyme of things. I am so creative when I have a guideline to follow, and through all of your videos, I have gained so much freedom. But there was something special about today's video that allows me or gives me artistic creativity instead of copying others' way of doing things. I now feel I can begin to settled down into my own expressive creative comfort. Truly, thank you from the bottom of my heart! (hugs)

Fabulous video, Joie. I don't possess the self-discipline to stick with a whole month of doing the same thing. I craft depending on my mood. "Do I want to knit today? Crochet? Tat? Work in a coloring book? Junk journal?" I have too many coals in the fire to stay with one thing for too long. I loved making the flippy envelopes. Time for some more. Joie, I just love your birds and butterflies and your painted stamps. They make your pages so pretty. How you use the bird from the children’s book page is what I’ve been wanting to find. I’ve never gotten on board with “words for the year,” but when I read yours, they immediately resonated with me. So I’ve adopted them for 2023-a year that will have me moving (at 69 years old)from CA back to my home town in the Midwest (a new adventure!) and will require focus and perseverance to get my home here sold.
