10 Belt Blanks in 15 Minutes
Тәжірибелік нұсқаулар және стиль
10 belt blanks in 15 minutes? Yep, you heard that right! In this video, Chuck attempts to make 10 belt blanks (cut, punched, grooved and edged) in just 15 minutes. Belt blanks are great to have on hand in your shop and-as Chuck demonstrates-they're pretty quick and easy to make. And if you have friends and family occasionally stop by your shop, a belt blank that they can decorate is a great project to send them home with!

Damn I've missed this channel. We moved up to Montana in 2020 and back to Texas in 2021, but are just now getting our shop set back up. Good to see ya Chuck! Your vids always inspired us. -- EJ & Shelly James @ Grey Skyye Leather Co

Thank you!
Your trick to mark the belt with measurement right on it is Great, so customers try it on and get perfect size every time. Love the idea and will make one for sure! Thank's !! ;-)
Man, I love your enthusiasm and guidance Chuck
Chuck makes everything always looks so simple and fun, looking forward to testing this out!
What I have learned when punching holes for rivets or snaps on a belt is to punch three of the four holes. Then set the one pair of snaps. The third hole is now used to locate where the punch is to be placed for the fourth hole. This ensures the snaps/rivets will align perfectly. Thanks for sharing.
Excellent work as usual 😄😄
Always a pleasure to watch your videos. Best regards from Germany. 👋🏻
Informative as always, keep them coming.
As a point on strap cutter blades - you will get longer service, and better performance out of the tool if you STROP THE BLADES, on installation and after some heavy use. A wel-stropped blade will slide thru any leather short of heavy skirting, that calls for a knife or metal draw guage.... I've destroyed wooden strap cutters on 12 - 14 oz. Saddle skirting, so there's experience for ya! 😎

Hey what are the dimensions of that 'shorty' as you call it? That seems really handy to have in my shop...? Thanks in advance.
