My favorite hot rod car era is from 1965 to about 1974 with a few exceptions in the 80s and 90s. I had a 1967 Camaro with a 327 and a Muncie M-22 Rock Crusher 4-speed transmission that I should have never sold. 😁👍

No decade is great for Hot Rods. It mostly falls on the person who's building theirs, & talent, taste, & imagination. And what a Great Collectable Comic Book! Great Show tonight Keep em Comin!
I could never pick a certain year of hotrod there are to many cool cars from every Era nice bunch tonight thanks for sharing 👍

Comic Book…The red 1967 Galaxie reminded me of the 1967 Mercury Cougar GT 390 4 speed I had in high school. Same color. Miss those days.
60's are my fav era for cars and I like hot rod comic books!
really like the sudden delivery-also like comic book
Comic book! ‘40 thru ‘60 decades are great for rod building. You can see the evolution across that time
I live in Alabama most of my life. We moved from Monterrey, California beach, straight to the woods! We have plenty of old cars. My disability wouldn’t make the payments on these cars! Great video!

So build your own..... I have a friend who's taking a 63 Chevy truck and putting it on a 81 Olds Delta 88, he's going to spend less than $1,000, how? he's already got everything just siting around his property.

Any year from 1945 to the late 70's are what I dream of.
Grew up in the 70’s and I relate best to them. Although I like any year car, or comic book. 👍🏻
Oh, and my favorite hot rod era? Must say I am partial to the sixties. I owned (many moons ago) fine examples from each of the "big three". Would have been nice (and smart) to have figured out a way to keep them. Again, thanks so much for the content. COMIC BOOK!
I really don't have a favorite Era of cars. I like many cars from different eras. I'm getting older and someday I would love to find a 71 Torino. Comic Books. Another good episode Solon!!

I don't think I have a favorite year for hot rods. I love them all. I have a 1957 Chevy 6400 tow truck that is all original and all works great! The only thing that is not original is the motor. I replaced the 283 with a 350 when it wore out. I still have the original.

The late 1960's have to be my favorite years 1967-1969 I have a '68 ford f250 4x4 I have had it since '98 it's been in the family since '68 when my uncle bought it and then he sold it to my mom in '93 I love the tool box on the lower front passenger side of the bed I'm just having a hard time finding a dana 44 front axle housing closed knuckle I want to stay as close to original as possible and this is why I am having trouble finding the correct front end

Yep - two good things you can't lose on!
Love the 50s, 60s and 70s trucks!
i really enjoy looking at your used car videos, my favorite in this one is the 36 chevy coupe. so back in the mid 60's my brother and i had collected a lot of the things to make a hot rod, we had a 34 ford pick-up body, the front and rear axles from a lincoln zeypher' the straight frame from a stugebaker truck and a 354 hemi from a 54 chrysler new yorker. we never finished our dream car because we both went into the air force and the stuff sat in my parents yard for several years until when i came home on leave onetime and they asked me to get rid of it, which i did and gave it all away. maybe next time.

My favorite hot rods are ANY 4 door with suicides, OR mid 30s to late 50s COE!!!!!
I remember my dad had a “67 Charger” in 1970 when I was youngster. He use too do burn outs while I tried to hang on to the dash . It threw me back in the seat every time . Good ol days !!
Delighted to find your channel! It’s like picking up a hot rod mag & enjoying the builds….. but better (especially hearing the sweet rumbles & lopes). Didn’t know about HR comic books ….. so now will be adding that to my collectible list. Keep up the great work! I always see something I want to buy.

I feel the 1930s define hot rods. As a daily, though, I'd go with a 1960s car. Comic Book.

1957 was the pinnacle of the automotive world. Ask any car guy and 9.5 out 10 are going to have a 57 Chevy/Ford/Dodge/Packard/Desoto in their top 5 if not top 3.
"comic book"... good for she-shed too? Oh, and that '67 Galaxy is sweet. If it's as nice underneath as it looks on top and inside, that is a smokin' deal! Thanks for your efforts in producing these videos. God bless.

Lol! Yes even for the she shed! Thank you so much for being a viewer. I appreciate it.!
I actually don't have a favorite era of Hot rod because every era has something I really like about it. The Pre war were the simplicity of them, the post war was the shape and the ingenuinity the car companies came up with, the 60's were the big motors, the 70's was the long sleek style and wild paint job's they would do, the 80's was the lack of flash and the "Modern Muscle" car I love the Retro body style and colors.

My favourite hot rod era would have to be the 1930's. There was a time when it had to be a '32 Ford to be hot rodded. But they're far too expensive for me now and I'm perfectly happy with my '30 Model A Coupe. And I can see it in my garage, not in a comic book (although I like them too).
comic book im old school love the 30s but all the cars are great.👍

And it’s for sale after only 600 miles of use? I don’t think I could spend that much time and money to build and then sell it. I’ve had my old Triumph on the road for 20 years now and it’s a little workhorse. We’ve done 300 miles in one day, I wouldn’t consider any car that I couldn’t drive home to Ohio.

As a 75 year old geezer, and owner of a 66 Chevelle drop top, the thousands of street rods i.e. 20’s, thirty’s & fourties will be a tough sell going forward… certainly the younger generations do not have the same affection for these vehicles…or any vehicles …..there are a few that enjoy this sport, bur not enough to support this hobby….the costs ( like everything else ) is prohibitive. The skill set is slowly but surely going by the wayside….there will always be collectors…..but the market, including 60’s muscle cars will definitely bottom out….
