Today (21 April 23) Google announced its Bard AI can write, troubleshoot, and explain software code. Want to try it and a few others and give us your impressions....? 🤔

M. Gustafson Have not tried Bard for that purpose... Otherwise it still needs a lot of work to catch up to ChatGPT.

Very nice, thanks for the good content. hope to see weekly updates - earned my sub and like✨
Very good summary. Indicates where we are headed. I wonder if the following is already possible: 1, An AI tool which would create a cartoon character based on some characteristics I can specify. 2, Then it would create a cartoon strip or a cartoon animation. 3, I would provide the AI tool some lyrics in some language and it would sing it in a few different tunes. 4, I would sing something poorly, and the AI tool would sing it well in the same tune and add background instrumental music. 5, I would provide a description of an industrial process and the AI tool would produce a schematic diagram. 6, Then I would tell it how the process changes with time, and the AI tool would animate the diagram.
Great info Brett … thanks!!
Wow. Great stuff!! Thank you!
Very informative, very clear, thank you for the links! Subbed and liked !
Great video on AI tools for educators! It’s exciting to see this field grow. If you ever update the list, consider adding new startups like Fetchy. Keep up the great work.
Thanks for this video! 💪💯
Thank you! I was hoping you'd do an AI video. If you find anymore AI stuff then please make another video for it.
Loving the selection, Brett! I'm big on AI tools myself. Got hooked on this one called boost app social. Helps me create unique content for my socials, including reels and stories. They've even got this AI that helps you with captions, descriptions, and content ideas. Total timesaver!

I am happy to see that after the many years of providing informative technology videos you are finally getting good web traffic. You must put in lots of work to create this content. As a techno peasant I applaud your efforts in bringing the leading edge of tech to those of us who navigate these waters with great uncertainty

Like you, I'm not sure where the dividing line is between Cool and Creepy. Sadly, I fear those that think Creepy is Cool. Oh, and BTW, I think 'Tech Gumbo' is much more memorable than 'Brett in Tech'. No offense intended...
MyHeritage is the best ! Do you think like me ?
It's almost overwhelming how the advancements--from an outside observer's perspective--have exploded in only a handful of years. When "deepfake" became a taboo word with worries of how it would be used negatively, others were able to demonstrate its benefits in areas like the film industry. In only one day each, a fan was able to use his personal computer to improve the accuracy of the transposed young faces of Princess Leia and Tarkin from the original _Star Wars_ films into _Rogue One: A Star Wars Story._ somethings that took the original production several thousands of dollars and weeks of rendering to accomplish. A few years later and we now have websites that are nearly able to beat the Turing test with unique results instead of quotes from the web and software that can create art in seconds that would take an experienced digital artist hours to accomplish. It is mind blowing to ponder the advancements we could see in only another handful of years!

I think we're getting to the point were any mildly impressive programme is being called "AI". They're computer programmes, get over it.
