Event Tracker is super gooood. Thanks a lot! Took a break from s2 and in s1 we had to either check the timings on a website or having weakauras for that, now with this event tracker it's just much better and as you said feels like part of the game. 😄

LOVED this video, Generally when people make a top 10 addons, it's Weakauras, Plater, Details. We all know about those, but most of yours where new to me

10.2 S3 Gear Upgrade Level Chart - recommend this wa: A simple text chart that attaches to your character info frame. It helps me keep track of the new gear upgrade tracks.

love the list..and have downloaded a few to try.. have been using the addon All the Things for a long time, and i totally enjoy it. 1 thing i hate about it is that during boss fights in raid, when u mouse over the boss..half the screen gets blocked by the loot list etc. and u cant turn it off unless u turn off the whole thing during raids.

can confirm, Hekili is pretty useful. Used it for a while when I was trying to learn my Boomkin rotation. I ended up disabling it since I've finally learned how to play Boomkin, but during the time I used it it was a lifesaver. Nice list!

I love hekilli, i've been playing since release and it just gives you a chance to focus on other important stuff like interupts and stuff. I use it as a suggestion defenitly don't just follow it all the time.

Re: the mplus gains addon not updated. I have an addon that does something similar but a different approach. M+ Adventure Guide - one of its modules is to add a small bit of detail to the M+ UI to show you what the highest key is you've done based on whether this week is tyrannical/fortified. This way I can easily see which key is my lowest for the current weeks affix, then I can target that key.

I think you can go over on dream infusions an not have to worry. I turned one in a few days ago and the bar went down to 1/3rd full instead of empty.

I agree when you said bagnon breaks. I have several addons break every time I play usually when trying to click something that the addon thinks it’s a treasure chest and it disables the addon. Like clicking a rep token. It gets annoying, thank you for the video

Yeah hearthstone lua failures made me get rid of it, the retail one is fine once you customize it tho, this one does look nicer too

One of the best bag addon is Sorted. Idk why, but I have the event tracker in my map integrated, dunno which addon did that though

Hekili looks interesting. I use HeroRotation when learning a new class. It'll include trinket pops as well as racial buffs such as berserk etc etc.

I've recently returned to the game and I'd like to play the story content in order. I keep picking up main missions full of spoilers for things that haven't happened (to me) yet, characters that I should clearly have knowledge of but don't, etc.

As you enter the dragon isles, go clockwise around the map ending up in valdrakken. Avoid picking up new quests in Valdrakken until you get there. Unfortunately Blizzard did release some quests that occur post-raids to everybody and didn't gate them very well behind previous quest chains (due to requiring kills within the raids to complete them) and this is usually the main reason for the spoilers - we came in late and played through and had some spoilers (that were super confusing at the time) during our campaign as those quests didn't align properly. Waking Shores -> Ohn'ahran Plains -> The Azure Span -> Thaldraszus -> The Forbidden Reach -> Some of the Valdrakken Quests relating to the first raid (Many can be done simultaneously with FR) -> Zaralek Cavern -> The other quests related to the second raid in Valdrakken (Many can be done simultaneously with ZC) -> Time Rift stuff around Thald -> Emerald Dream + 3rd Raid story lines.

also I am 19 vet player and I LIVE by Hekili so much so I support his patreon, I also sit high on dps meters and this is why...and when people ask me how I do it I just say it tells me to I have no shame, at all because my numbers are high and my focus is on whats going on in the fight rather than worrying about what to hit next, my muscle memory is on point, I've used versions of hekili over the many years, tell me when, the good ol CLCRET (rip OG addon)

It's not muscle memory if you're religiously following a rotation addon. Assuming people don't see you online when the addon is outdated and you're waiting for Hekili's priorities to be updated

You build the muscle memory after time, you definitely wont be topping meters if you stare at the addon and just hit the button, you'll eventually only reference it from time to time@@slaphappy1574

Amazing video, some great addons I love and a few brand news ones I'm absolutely adding. RE: Adibags I think the strongest thing is the ability to create manual sections/filters. I haven't used external plugins for sorting, but manually sorted stuff for years to be just how I like it. For example: Enchanting SL, Enchanting DF, etc to denote what the trade material is for, and from when. This really pays off when looking through your bank years down the road and trying to figure out what is what. RE: Hekili Forget the haters. Hekili has greatly enabled me to try new specs and play alts more consistently than ever before. There ARE ways to max your casting if you don't rely on it, but it serves as an EXCELLENT starting point to drop into a character. Honestly, the difference between me playing Feral on my own after decades, compared to playing with it is fairly minimal. I've found it only helps to reinforce my gameplay, and makes me question my choices when they differ from what it suggests. I've become a far better users of CDs thanks to it, no more hoarding my 2-5min CDs for "oh shit" stuff only.

thanks for the video, going to be using some of these i think, at least try them out. but holy crap if you use every single one of these plus ones you are most likely already using that is an insane amount of clutter on your screen. i personally like a relatively clean UI. To each their own though happy hunting out there folks. =)

If that manuscripts tab is actually *correct* vs the in-game sources listed in the dragonriding customization area which at least half of them are just wrong I'll definitely get that addon.

I got the sources for the manuscripts tab mostly from wowhead, with a few from people telling me wowhead is wrong and the source is actually whatever. AFAIK the only times the customization area is wrong is when it lists manuscripts that aren't actually obtainable.

What kind of addon is this where the damage numbers fly out in different directions? My damage indicators are shown only upwards, and not like yours in different directions

manuscripts addon looks helpful. my eyes glaze over trying to sort currency requirements across rep vendors.

i helped someone with this event and used my purple seed for one of the bags but did not recieve a bag did the bag loot go inside the big reward thing from the plant at the end?

Yeah they removed the bags, all the loot is just inside the seed itself now

I tried the rotation helper found all I did was focus hard on the icons being displayed and also it can change what it wants pressed so fast I’m like do I still press what you showed first or is it this skill now !

Hello, I had an addon that could show item level of the player and the gear on inspect and it showed as well enchants on the gear pieces or missing enchants, and gems too. Anyone knows what addon that was? I cannot find anything similar that works good or is not clunky.

I've had a couple of my addons get built in to the base UI in the past. Blizzard never contacted me about it in any way. They just remade my addon in their own way and dropped it in a patch without a word. I presume they do it that way because they don't want authors claiming royalties.

What font are you using for your UI in this video? What/which addon provides it?

FRIZQT and it shouldnt need an addon, you just make a Fonts folder in your wow folder in the same directory that interface, addons etc folders are and drop the font inside the fonts folder

Any addons to help finish campaign quest after the 70 boost bcs quest are hard to find or bugged..

Any point playing again as someone who doesnt get time to raid and even keys got a bit much for me to make time for?

In 2008, I left for my military service, back home, saw all my chars were emptied and located at a peak in storm peaks iirc. The website never accepted any kind of responsibility but it was obviously an addon from that well known website. Cus their explanation bout the issue was merely unsatisfactory…I managed to obtain everything stolen back thanks to blizz. Never again an addon, never…😒

Hekili is bad because not only does it not teach you anything but you end up playing your class wrong.

Please do not recommend Hekili. It is almost always wrong. That is all I have to say about that.

And yet blizzard is actively trying to kill the addon community , when its sad that the DEVS can't make better QOL things within their own game so would rather just cut it out all together and force terrible design choices onto the player base
