also as a tip for the reloading cancel, just hold the fire bottom down while reloading the gun will start shooting when it can, also skipping part of the reloading animation

tried it and it doesnt seem to work for me , i tried holding down entierly till automatic reload and it went full animation i tried to hold after pressing reload and still didnt do anything

Holding down doesn't work but tap firing works (albeit inconsistently). ADS'ing, however, works all the time for me and is much faster since you're likely going to ADS anyway.

That first tip is crazy af. I'm definitely using that. This is a great list 👍🏾

I never subscribe to gaming videos because I don't want to get bombarded by youtube with recommendations BUT I HAVE to subscribe to you. Most of the content creators for this game are just repeating what every other content creator is saying. Every video I've watched from you has had information that no other creator has. I came into this video expecting to get the same information everyone else is saying but a lot of these are new to me. Your other videos have helped me tremendously in this game.

Mate ngl I got 40 hours myself in the game. Which obviously means the story is mainly completed yet I still know nothing. This guide is great, the ammo one is fantastic, the equipment farm one and having toxic, chill etc is great to know. All of it. Best video I’ve seen so far and very clear and detailed. Don’t even try to ask me about the story, skipped almost every cutscene haha. I wanted to watch them but they were like “nope, next mission”.

Since staying stationary is most dangerous thing to be, a cool trick for long drops and bosses that force-teleport you, like Executioner: to stop stagger from landing, start reloading your gun before hitting the ground - it will cancel the landing animation, without limiting your mobility.

I've lost count how many tip videos I've seen that basically just teach about how the menus work and the access menu and where to see where items drop etc. so yeah, these were awesome :) Thank you. Gonna have to keep this open to remember especially which component gave which element effects and the hard mode thing. My co-op friend dipped out on me after 30 hours so still stuck in Normal mode soloing the bosses, just beat Devourer today.

You can add to the ammo tip that your secondary general round weapon can have the impact/special ammo conversion mod. This way, if you see special/impact ammo... Just switch to that weapon and the rounds are converted to general.

FINALLY SOMEONE WITH ACTUAL USEFUL TIPS!!!! I've got 65h in the game, the ammo tip is mindblowing, plus the external components resistances are also new to me, this game would benefit a lot from an actual working wiki. Sir you have earned my sub!

Def worth to note when leveling up your sub module, you can catalyst that spot since they all share the same module symbol and get an extra +5 capacity.

Great video! Respect for keeping it strictly informative. A couple notes I'd want to recommend: The tip for ammo economy, I'd add on and say that in addition to increasing max capacity, I'd also recommend an ammo conversion mod, like Special to General. Once you get to the mod's final upgrade (which is still fairly cheap) the efficacy JUMPS from requiring 3.6 special ammo to make 1 general, to only requiring 1.2 special ammo. IIRC, it's only 7 mod cost, and this mod along with one of the max capacity ones should solve any ammo problems you may have. Note you do have to hold the weapon when converting. Also, the 9:45 tip about bonuses scaling with level; they do, but the stat color (blue/purple/yellow) is determined by the stat roll within set ranges. Two level 100 items can have yellow stats but slightly different numbers. Fun fact on the topic: Skill Cooldown on reactors is bugged and reversed, the best bonus is a blue stat, and the worst is yellow. Finally, and I'm still not too sure about this, but me and some others have started thinking that Equipment and Module drop rate stats on your external equipment may actually compete with and lower the consumable drop rate, like for Code Breakers. It requires further testing, but if that's what your farming for, you may want to take off those bonuses. EDIT: 10:20, levelling a gun doesn't necessarily set the stats to grey, but the game reclassifies them bc the level difference is so large. You can level a 95 gun to 100, and the stats may stay all the same colors, but you should know that they can get higher if you reroll them.

The reload cancel only seems like it is faster, but the remaining reload time is actually the same amount of time as your roll. That's why you have to wait longer for longer loading guns. You are not really gaining any extra time. The grapple might actually be a slight decrease in load time

During testing of my Eternal willpower, the entire reload takes 2.8 seconds, as the threshold is 50% I can reload cancel at 50% (1.4 seconds) using the grapple technique which takes ~0.5 seconds. Meaning I can start shooting the gun, fully reloaded after 1.9 seconds, almost cutting a full second off the reload. This only is possible because I use the mod which increase reload times, if I wasn't then the reload time wouldnt be long enough to warrant cancelling. Definitely a by-case situation but can be beneficial in some places!

you can reload cancel with punch as well. very useful in melee range. a better indicator of when to reload cancel seems to be after the fresh magazine has been inserted into the weapon.

For your first tip, instead of sacrificing an entire weapon slot to fit 2 mods, you could actually just use a refinement mod on the weapon. it's a 7 - 8 cost mod when fully upgraded (depending on the ammo class)

As someone just starting out yesterday, this helps. Well done and sub earned. I won’t be so anal retentive about saving low lvl rolls now. Dismantle all, here I come! That alone is a massive time saver.

Glad I could help you! I had a TON of weapons I thought would be great sitting in my vault only to realise none of would be worth it at max level.

For the ammo tip. As a added tip which is something I do. Also throw on a ammo conversion mod. Special or Impact ammo to General Rounds. IF you cannot find a general round drop pull out the backup gun and run over special or impact whichever you have modded and get general rounds for your main gun. Then just switch back. BOOM ammo obtained. Ive been running double general rounds with your 2 mods and the conversion mod since the 2nd day of the game. Havent run out of ammo since then. Also for the reload cancels. Each gun can reload cancel when your descendent puts a new mag into the gun. You can skip all the racking portion with grapple/roll. Thunder Cage for example throws in a new mag really early (the 20%). Watch the slow mo he has in video and youll see its right when the mag goes into the gun.
