@CashelOConnolly originally no. But when the content is recycled so much on this channel that most of the content has been a rehash of videos from last year. Jules is the only one keeping his content fresh. He's not just reading a script either like most presenters on whatculture.

Robin Williams was a comedic genius and it shows in his films. I think most directors learned to let him run wild at times knowing something amazing will come out of it.

So even when Jules narrates, this channel still insists on the abrupt endings... Thanks a lot, Whatculture. It's not like Jules genuinely heartfelt send-offs wishing us all well was nice to hear or anything.

They cut them because they found the majority of people didn't watch them & just clicked away during them. Unfortunately sometimes you have to make financial decisions when it comes to content making that covers people's actual livelihoods

Another great one is in Fight Club. In the scene where Edward Norton and Brad Pitt are playing golf, both were actually intoxicated and just messing around. The director saw the interaction and started filming.

The ending scene of “The Graduate.” The scene kept recoding after the actors thought the cameras turned off.

No honourable mention for Dale Dye in Platoon? The director caught him giving a thousand yard stare in between takes and filmed it. Dale actually fought in the Vietnam war for real, and the Platoon set was giving him wartime flashbacks every now and then.

In Planes Trains and Automobiles, at the end of the film when Steve Martin is on the train in Chicago looking around and they do the flashbacks as his character realized something was wrong....apparently the shot that was used of Steve Martin was just him thinking about an upcoming scene.

Miles Teller in Whiplash. That dude is a beast! He had bloody knuckles and all kinds of stuff because they never called action or cut when he filmed the drumming scenes.

Some of these are really cool once this info is given, like that makes me very happy about the dirty dancing scene, cause now i know, it was all natural and therefore purer/raw/etc.!!! You guys know what i mean

I'm guessing that when Martin Sheen was having a mirror-punching breakdown at the beginning of Apocolypse Now! he didn't know he was being filmed. Or cared.

In the intro, it should've been "for reasons unbeknownst to anyone but themselves..." and not "for reasons unbeknownst only to themselves..." The way you it's said, it means "known to anyone but themselves".
