Looks like the Squadron Leader was more interested in making a new home in the box, Crash! I wonder why they went with the clear canopy with this model when the others are painted foam? Looks miles better. Enjoy flying it with your friend 👍

Inkie (the squadron leader) was very much more interested in the boxes. It reminds me of the best way to trap cats. Place 1 empty box on the ground and wait. To be honest and it was my fault as I didn’t have my glasses on but I didn’t notice the clear plastic canopy until I went flying the following day. Since then I have looked at the newer models of the small warbirds that are coming out and the newer spitfires also have clear plastic canopies. It looks like they are finally starting to realize that they need to be making a higher quality product

Very nice! I used a P51 to learn to fly RC and it was great. It took quite a beating but still can stay in the air. Those 3-bladed props sure look good, and my calculation is that they bring around 35% more thrust. Looking forward to the dog fight :)

Pappy Lawrence and myself had a chat and the dogfight is set but as yet we have not picked a day. There maybe an upcoming dogfight with a P51 too as Pappy Lawrence is talking about getting the Eachine P51 as well. The 3 blade prop does help increase the thrust. Sounds like you are very knowledgeable on thrust dynamics. That is very useful to know.

I have my spitfire that's an eachine that I wired in an FPV camera. I do have some videos with the spitfire flying with the FPV camera. But I don't wear a headset as A I don't have 1 as they fog up my glasses and B I don't feel ready yet.

I can recommend the eachine spitfire. They have a 400mm wing span. They also have BF 109s P51, warhawks ete ete
