Their sambal is to die for. My inlaws from Singapore always buy tons of tubs of Sambal from Village Park, whenever they visit us. Then bring it back and use it when they home cook the Telor Sambal, Sambal Udang, Sambal Sotong or the Nasi Lemak.❤😂

@@CikjaLepaTT5192 Well, Nasi Lemak where I live is simple - just rice, sambal chilli, ikan ibis, nuts, cucumber, a chicken wing, an otah or fish cake or small fish. That's all. No large chicken. That is why I am having difficulty recognizing it as Nazi Lemak. Most of the stalls selling Nasi Lemak or Ayam Penyak use ordinary rice. -there are some luxury Nazi Lemak with coconut milk /pandan (green) or saffron rice (purple) but it is so expensive that many people avoid them. While Ayam Penyak is supposed to be smash chicken, in many places, it is just a large piece of fried chicken like in the video and is sometimes served unmashed, further creating confusion and blurring the lines.
