My mom used to make me cut my hair short and frequently. when I got older I started getting it cut when I wanted as I was an adult. I let my hair grow for 2 years and it opened my eyes. it completely changed my confidence and how I view myself. I now know I can have 2 or 3 different haitcuts that work and I can go between them as I see fit. I recommend every young man like myself to let their hair grow out. there will be times where you hate it, but then you'll look in the mirror one day and realize you look amazing at certain lenghts or with certain conditions. then you can use that forever! i mean hell, i didnt even know I had CURLY HAIR until i grew my hair out. now my shit is curlier than a cowtail and I love it

I had an experience something like this. I had had short hair all my life and a few months after going to university I grew it out for almost two years. During those two years I obviously met many new people and I even heard from some of my friends that others had referred to me as "the guy with long hair". When I finally decided to return back to a short style some of these people who had never seen me with short hair didn't recognize me at first. Also with others whom I told I was gonna cut my hair they simply couldn't imagine me with short hair.

I have a friend like you though, he gets a haircut and a week later it has grown enough for me to notice, he usually just lets it go until it's shaggy and then cuts it, otherwise he'd be in every week to keep it up.

And then in the following photos it just looks like he has brown eyes and brown hair, which isn't a bad thing in case anyone wants to get offended, but it shows that darker lighting doesn't showcase your face that well.

I think he looks best between months 4-8. Obviously he would normally cut back and sides in a little but the top is a good length.

I did a little over a year of hair growth during quarantine just because I wanted to see what it'd be like (I cut it recently like a month ago) and it went down to my shoulders. Here's what I found - you tend to realize more hairs fall out especially after a shower - drying hair becomes increasingly annoying with every inch of length added - some people (like me) will not have naturally nice hairstyles so you'll have to manage your own daily routine - if you don't have hair that likes to go behind your ears then everytime you look down slightly or bend down, it'll get in your face and make you look like the grudge - usually looks best after swimming (like most people's hair) but especially good with long hair - some days your hair will be very generous to you and others it will f*ck you over - you may have a phase like me where hair growth is quickest and then it seems to go very slow (typically as it gets "very long") - wind is not your friend

Been growing mine out for 10 months. The only reason I haven't cut it is because the day after I decide to, I have a good hair day and decide to keep it haha I swear it's a 50/50 after I take my shower whether or not it's gonna look good that day

You would make a great actor ( provided you can act ) You have the looks and ability to alter your style and still look good.

I felt like I was creating a customized character and going through all the different hair style options

I dont know why but time lapse videos are always satisfying! 😂

I let my hair grow for about 13 months, starting last year during the lockdown, and I fell in love with long hair again. Of course my mom’s constant compliments over FaceTime through that time were a big part of it. Haha 🙃 Long hair definitely works with your facial features!
