It's really easy for someone to say that you shouldn't cry about this, that it's just hair, blah blah blah. But hair can be a very self defining thing. Sometimes you can have no make up on, and wearing sweat pants, but if your hair looks good, you still feel pretty. Not to mention, this is what you do for a living! Your hair is a huge part of your identity, and your brand! I feel so bad that it happened to you, but you've bounced back beautifully!😍❤️👍

Anyone who says you were dramatic never had a salon ruin their hair, the trust I’m sure you had in the salon was destroyed, your trust was broken, your heart was broken and your hair was incredibly damaged I’m so glad you found ways to help and heal your hair ❤️

That video a year ago was tough to watch but you, and your hair, have grown so much. You’ve found some amazing beneficial products and helpful/knowledgeable people around you which has helped you grow inside and out. I’ve learned so many things through your hair journey. 💚💚

same happened to me i too almost shaved it off after a terrible experience with hair extensions (also from a professional who told me they would leave my hair non damaged and actually more healthy) it’s been almost 6 months and it’s insane how much it’s thickened and grown, i ended up getting a wolf cut so my hair is very layered rn from how choppy and snapped it was from the stylist, ur video definitely made me feel less alone and gave me hope as i as so upset!

My hair is so damaged due to chemical burn. It’s been 2 years since then and I’ve seen little progress until recently, it’s something I’m so insecure about and no one on KZread has hair similar to mine, until I watch your video. It makes me feel better to know that you’re hair is growing and starting to repair, it gives me hope. Everyone’s hair is different but if K18 works for you, I wanna give it a shot. Thank you for sharing your story and products, you’ve help me in more ways than one

So sorry to hear your hair still isn't recovering! It's a long journey and to be honest I really didn't see results until a few months ago. Definitely do K18 maybe every 5 washes

When my stylist (at the time had been my stylist for 20 years) ruined my hair 4 years ago, I still deal with breakage. Yes, I still get my hair bleached every 6 weeks, but the stylist I have now uses 10 volume only on my hair, and believes in the low and slow method. My hair continues to grow and is getting stronger. I’m still going to have breakage, but it’s no worse than it was, except for my post COVID hair loss. I use k18 every few weeks and repair oils and whatever I can to not make my hair any worse than what it was. I always let my hair air dry and will straighten my hair maybe once or twice every few weeks. I usually tend to pull half of it back in a butterfly clip. I have naturally curly/wavy hair and if I need to look more polished I will scrunch my hair and wear it curly.

Love this! So sorry yours broke too! I do think your hair can only take that much. My hairstylist too is low and slow - a much better way! So glad your hair is getting stronger everyday!

Thank you for the Hair update! It is very helpful information. I have a question… So first off I am very new to bleaching my hair. I wanted to try something different and decided to bleach my hair completely. I started with mid to ends bleached and pink color. Recently I got my roots bleached. I did notice that I am getting a lot more split ends(even after I had my hair trimmed)and the effects of the bleach I can see on my hair. I have noticed a little bit of very short breakage near my part at the crown of my head. I’m not sure if it’s just because I wear my hair up every day at work in a ponytail, or if it’s from the bleach. So my question is what is your advice to me on which of those products I must have. I did start using K 18 and I do have Ola Plex 3, 4 &5. But I definitely feel like I need a hair mask. By the way your video on K 18 really inspired me to buy it! so thank you!

❤️❤️❤️ I'd definitely switch up how you wear your hair. If you wear it the same everyday it will put stress on the same bit of hair day in day out and that can cause breakage, especially on bleached hair. Try silk scrunchies or hair bands that are more gentle on your hair xxx

Have you tried nioxin night density rescue drops? It’s expensive but works. It helps the roots become stronger. Defo worth trying if you haven’t.

They say silk pillow cases & silk scrunchies help from preventing damage to hair, so I'd imagine any products coating silk would help with hair & rosemary oil is also good for hair growth especially if you massage it in to scalp with scalp massage brush along with other essential oils including peppermint and of course what I was always told is a healthy diet 😄

So... she did reach out and wanted to re do my hair but sadly my trust had gone so I declined. Then I had the manager of the hair salon leave me numerous voicemails wanting to talk. When I reached out and explained how upset I was and how my hair had been affected and how I wouldn't be able to do my job because of it he laughed down the phone and told me that I should leave my hair alone. And they never offered me a refund either. Paid £500 🫣
