Brs are making the hobby more expensive than it should, at least by 30 %

Rumor has it Reef factory signed exclusive distribution rights with BRS after a bunch of smaller companies helped them test and improve their products.

I heard about that and it sucks.

March, the fact that they gave it to you to use and review is absolutely crazy. I saw a Reef Flare set up in one of my LFS and I really liked the look it gave. I was actually contemplating selling my XR30 G6 for the equivalent reef factory reef flare but if they are going to give you such poor service what kind of service are they going to give joe blow. You don’t know me but I feel like I know you in a way and I trust your opinion. I’ve already taken your advise on a couple of different products and have not been disappointed. Thanks for keeping it real.

I hear a lot of complains that the connection is bad lights that dont turn on anymore . Service i dont know . People are dropping them quick .

Another Reef Flare L user here. So nice to hear someone else share the experience of the night time disco! I’m on my fourth replacement from Reef Factory with that same fault and I’m in process of sorting a replacement for another 😂

I use the large pro L, it’s amazing. Never seen more sps growth

March, look into Quanta and Reefi lights. Quanta bars for suplimental light. And Reefi, well, they offer a lot at a very competitive price point

Both are great. Got a pair of Quanta Pros flanking my main display tank. Incredible product.

You know 3 am is when the ghosts come out... And the basement is haunted... May not be the light 😂

Yeah, as a matter of fact, March was supposed to give us the story on the basement ghost and he never did.

March I agree an the Jebo pump be for I upgraded to ecotech I use to run wp 60s and 40s they still run till this day 10 years plus 👍🏼

Good Video. Its strange - i switched from 3 Radions G5 to 3 Reef Flares Blue . I had always issuse with Mobius und the system time of my Radions - the RF App is not the best but no serious issus until now :) I really happy with the look of my corals with the Flares . I have to say i not playing around with my light schedule ...

Hi all and march iv been useing the reef factory flare pro blue L light since Christmas and i do gotta say its very powerfull iv had amazing coral growth and colours pops the app could do with a few changes here and there but overall in my opinion its on the top shelf with ecotech xr30 g5 .

You make greate videos, thank you! I had high hopes for the Reef Factory system and support. My experience with AI has been just as bad as your Reef Factory support. Don't know what lights to buy for my next tank anymore. :)

I hope you try orphek bars. I have them on my tank and the coloration of corals is amazing.

This is probably an unnecessary comment just covering your back. When you ran up the stairs, I noticed your light switch was missing the cover. If one city worker or ESA watches your video, they will be on you like white on rice with a violation. I speak from experience 😢. Love your store! Purchased a blue stylo and birds of paradise last week! Doing great, keep up the videos!!

Won’t it make a difference to the wattage if the diodes in a light are more efficient at producing light Vs heat ? I’m not sure a watt per dollar gives a full picture regards amount of light per dollar ?

how about reefi uno 2.0 pro?

I have simiral issues that i set the my own schedule and its very often turn into the initial setting what product compony present.. and.. i put another line of setting and its suddenly work at the first line of setting .. it happens a lot… i use pro L version.. i like the product.. but i hate the app..

I agree. The light is great, but the app is ridiculous. I can’t change the damn daylight savings time back to standard time.

Has anyone seen the reef delights ultrabars?

U can’t compare the 3 puck version isn’t comparable to gen 5/6 ecotec. U should’ve compared the 2 puck to the gen 5/6. Ecotech app had sooo many issues and still does. Whenever new lighting is released the app’s suck until the finally update app

He obviously is bias, he only sells stuff made by the company that owns ecotech, AI and Neptune.

I have AI Hydra 's on one of my tanks and a Reef Factory Flare Pro Blue's on the other. Personally I like the Reef Factory light better. I fine the bluetooth take forever to connect on my Hydra's with Mobius or myAI app. By chance do you want to sell the reef factory light you have? 😁

They shot themselves in the foot by signing an agreement with BRS and screwing over the smaller distributors. BRS Neptune and Ecotech are the same company so what do you think they are going to push

Metal halide. Some fixtures offer a 395nm diodes like Reefi and Reefbreeders, but UV in the 300-385nm range is not really a thing in led fixtures.

Reef Factory killed off a load of my coral and a starfish, the company couldn't care less about it, I get problems happen but to just tell me tough luck is not good especially after they told me what to buy too!

couldnt disagree more, i love my reef factory life and would never go back to radions, they probably never came back to you coz it took you a year to do the review :)

I just don’t understand why you don’t use another Sky. You are really not helping the Neptune brand lately.
