1 Year Old Mushroom Hardwood Chip Beds.

You win some and you lose some. The sun beat me to these spots this year. But it was not a total fail. Here we take a look at what the spots look like and to give you an idea on what to do if you choose to make some near you. Hope you guys enjoy!

    Your welcome! I felt the same way when my friend Jack Cyan was teaching me!. I think I drove him nuts with questions. 😆

    For as dry as it sounds you got some pretty good flushes. My outdoor beds all came in a month early or more this year. Short winter.

    Yeah man! I'm happy I found them when I did. This has been a weird year. Same with morels. I didn't know If the season was starting or ending! 😂

    Yeah i love making patches all over the place i just love seeing how the mycelium takes over. I always make my patches close to creeks or lakes and they seem to like it very well . Love your content.

    Yes! Good places to make your patch! I was just utilizing land where I knew it was not going to be messed with. But then a cannabis farmer cut some trees down and it made my spot way less desirable. But it's still working out! Thanks man!

    Love to hear it brother! Maybe you know but just taking the stem butt and breaking it off and putting it in another chip pile will make them grow where ever you choose!

    I love the name cards🤣. I want to ask something do ever spayed spores on woodships? And did it work?

  • @HappiHyphae

    @HappiHyphae

    😆 If I don't lable them I'll get them mixed up. I got like 5 or 6 species out there. And about to add 5 or 6. No I have not just added spores. I mean thats how it happens in nature. So I'm sure it could work. But your best bet Is. Agar to grain. Grain to wood chips. And then wood chips to woodchips. The conditions have to be perfect for a decent amount of time to get the spores to germinate.

    @@HappiHyphae 😁 nice. Thats a lot of species man. I did a lot of spore spraying last year and the year before in a few places they were popping up. Last November I found my biggest patch there were thousands of psilocybe cyanescens it was like Christmas but better😉 Thanks for the tips. Keep spreading the love man ❤ Greetings from Belgium.

    @@johnbeton4058 I have never only sprayed spores. It can work. You just have alot more variables that need to be perfect.

    @HappiHyphae I heard there’s a fellow in Northeast Kansas who grows wood lovers in green houses. Last year the cyanescens were continuing to produce well into December.

    Clear vinyl tarps can actually be pretty cheap, especially in smaller sizes. Dollar store shower curtain liners work for a season too, but break down after that, and they blow away easy if not fastened. Just make a pup tent or box frame and drape it Helps a lot with moisture loss in dry areas, as long as it doesnt get too much sun.

I am using a 33/33/33 manure coir and vermiculite sub
