I have owned so many sub brands since 1993, I"m 53 today. Skar is just a huge bang for the money. You cannot go wrong with skar.

The VXF subs are some real gems for the price. I put a single 12 on a Smart Bass 3k in my car recently @ 2 Ohms with a Brand X 250 amp alternator. Using an old Pioneer DEH 80 PRS head unit to run some Morel components active along with a Skar 75.4 Marine amplifier. Without a doubt, this sub sounds a lot better musically than the Sundown X12 on a Wolfram C2400 amp in my last car.

Good shit man, look into switching into LTO for the battery. Currently running a smart 8 on a 270amp with a 48ah LTO bank charging 16.2 clamping almost 10k wired to .5 on a custom pair of ZV5 15's !

I think you are going the right direction. Once you get the battery built and installed you will be able to turn it all the way up

Ill say this . Your box is good . Seems to be making good pressure, plenty of cubes and port.

Great selection of equipment. BUT DEFINITELY get a Lto battery instead of agms saves weight and better power efficiency

My one zvx18 wanted more power I had smart 3 ran it 1ohm felt like it could take more I would use ,tramps smart 8 or big boss 8

Hey man what are you thoughs on this subs and the xfls?

Turn the amp gain down like halfway mines did that now I clip like hi 11s until I get my electrical upper!

I got the same setup except I have the Taramps smart 3 bass. These subs hit pretty hard tho

Line output converters..will give you higher volyage to the amp.. .therefor more boom and louder...a set of ..SNI_35 loc's will do..

The Taramps amps do not like higher input voltage. This is proven. All he needs is a better power source.

Did not know that.. yes more battery power would be better .like 14.5 volts..

I had 370 alt 2 d3400 my voltage was 14.3 full tilt 13.1

a personal recommendation is a bass 8k at 0.5 ohm cause I play for about 10 to 15 mins and they get warm but not super hot.

Nah I had a pair before my zv5's with black ring at the top its just excess glue

I rather go with skar than kicker l7 all day
