Good video explaining things with simplicity. Just wanted to add a bit: there is one other factor to consider when calculating cost of electricity and that is "peak time". Electricity consumed in peak time is billed little higher than non-peak time. Usually, peak time is 6pm to 11pm and it is applicable only on 3-phase meters.

Excellent Bhai, you are very talented engineer,

I am using two different inverter ac the first one is gree g10 1.5 ton which kick start at 4 to 6 amp and after 15 minutes at the temperature of 27degree Celsius it comes down to 2.89amp.. i am using it since last 3 years. First two years it's performance was so bad and it was stuck at 6 to 7amp but last year i noticed that there is some gas issue and after refilling it's gas it's working so good and it is using 2.89amp maximum... I also bought another ac last year which is ecostar 1.5ton inverter ac at the price of 65000 ecostar is actually a sub brand of gree.. ecostar kick start at 4amp and after 20 minutes it's amp comes Down to 1.6 to 1.7amp even if you are using turbo mode.. i am so happy with ecostar and with it's performance it's a little cheaper than gree also it's evaporators comes into pure copper... I will definitely recommend everyone ecostar.

Question: Apke test ke mutabiq ager 1 ton inverter ac 8 hr chlaya jai to 0.55kw x 8 = 4.4 bill units consume hoga. Pls confirm kigia 1.5 ton ac 8 hr chalya jai to 4.4 x 1.5 = 6.6 unit kherch krega, ya koi aur formula hai?

In Karachi, if KESC define your sanction load 5 or more then 5 then no slab will be applied but directly charge Off Peak 14.38 , On-Peak 20.70 ... This rule applies from June 2019, therefore, the bill goes double. This is the hidden way to double the bill by KESC.

Very informative video. But tariff information can be further explained. As excessive slab rate applies on excessive consumption and AC's consumption is excessive to essential house appliences. Hence second slab rate or 3 rd slab rate can also be charged by iesco in case of additional consumption i.e. 8.11, 10.20, 17.60 or 20.70. Further QTR and NJ surcharge was also not described. Tahir. ,

*Although the outdoor (compressor) in an inverter air conditioner never shuts off while it is running, it slows down as a result, which causes the amp to drop.*

A clarification needed: how is the room temp maintained after once attaining the set temp which was 26 C in your case, as you claim that the outdoor unit never runs again afterwards?? The outdoor unit must run again to keep temp down after sometime, No?

Outer doesn’t stop running for inverter ac during working. It keeps on running but speed varies accordingly.

Wait a minute. You took 2.6 amps for kwh calculation, when AC was consuming less energy. What about initial load when AC is working on full load to reach desired temperature ?

Yes you both are right these people even don't know power factor will not stay 0.9 all the time ghr ka power factor. And also he said after reaching desired temp only indoor will run what about outdoor if room temperature increase because of 43C outside. And our people are saying wah, wonderful then they will say Solar power system is not working properly or Inverter technology is useless

Nobody will operate only one AC at any place. AC Bill will be based on use of other electrical appliances as well. For any incremental Bill above 300 units the tariff gets too high. Hence use of AC becomes a burden.

Kon sa 6 Amp pay start ho raha hai. 0.7 Amp pay start ho raha hai. 40 mint tak 2.5 Amp pay ay jata hai. Calculation bilkul sahi hai..

I could easily install a sub-mitre for my ac to know the units it's consuming

Inverter AC outer never turns off, instead it varies its RPM continuously. When the room temp reaches set temperature, the compressor RPM comes down to its lowest taking only 2.6A including power of indoor's fan. Pl avoid misconception.

Hasnain bro haier ka b nai hota off. Agar 26 pe kar k chalao to. Aik dafa ma ne 16 pe chalaya tha. 3 4 hour k baad ma ne 26 pr kia to outdoor off hogya tha. Rare cases ma aisa hota hai bhai.
