I don't care what anyone has to say because the following statement is 100% true: Tom Brady makes his ENTIRE team better offensively and defensively. People say he doesn't affect the defense, yes he does. All those guys on that team carry an extra pep in their step KNOWING that they have the best QB to ever live on their team. So it gives the defense MORE incentive to go out and go extra hard cause if they get a stop -- guess what? Tom gets the ball. Not some random QB. So don't sit here and tell me Tom doesn't effect his entire team please. You saw it in this years Superbowl. Tom gets those crazy eyes, his team sees it. They lock in and the momentum completely shifted.

Warchief Thrall you're funny.. Bill is 41-57 without Brady. Also Belichick has always been a defensive minded coach. He was a defensive coordinator not a offensive coordinator. Before he became head coach. Rogers has great talent but at the end of the day he's not the winner Brady is. Brady is much tougher mentally, and is able to put his team on the shoulders of the biggest games. Rogers doesn't have any of those moments

Matt Ryan deserved number one for 2016. He had a better Super Bowl performance and had a top 10 regular season performance all time as well as the 6th highest passer rating in a single playoff run all time. He definitely played the best, and deserved the Super Bowl. The Falcons being historically terrible along with Brady's historic luck and good skill caused Brady to win in spite of Matt Ryan playing a lot better with the 4th highest Super Bowl passer rating ever. He carried a defense that was 28th in points allowed per drive and his trash coaching failed him. People aren't observant enough to realize that Matt Ryan was the best QB by far and 2016 therefore deserving the number 1 spot on this list.

There's nothing more beautiful to watch than Tom Brady's pocket awareness. He doesn't flinch his eyes while tango-ing in the middle of the heat. No big movements, just a step forward, to the back, to the side, two steps to other side, simultaneously, getting his throwing mechanism on par with the perfect rythem. But apparently, he can't dance to music?

Marshal Faulk's argument against Brady is favor of Montana makes no sense. He argues that Montana never lost a superbowl. Well, that is because Brady played in more superbowls, almost twice as many. Brady has more postseason wins, including Divisional championships than Montana. I doubt Faulk would say Eli is better than Peyton because Eli never lost a superbowl!

I've always believed Manning was the greatest Quaterback of all time. Peyton had a great arm in his prime and always was the greatest commander on the field, just the best combination of skill and intelligence. Brady was always 2nd. But after this season, and that Superbowl. I have no doubt in my mind. Tom Brady is the greatest QB ever, and I'd go as far as to say he may possibly be the greatest player ever period. No one will ever do what he did that night. Not at least for the time I'll be alive.

Bobby Wagner, I agree in terms of Tom possibly being the greatest player to ever play period. However, Peyton's career could've of gone that way too had his front office and coaching staff been more in tune. We all know Bill Polian put to much emphasis on the offense and little focus on the defense. The Pats on the other hands were opposite of the Colts. They didn't rely on having high draft picks at receivers (remember they opted to draft Richard Seymour over Reggie Wayne who the Colts selected). The Pats built their team to be well balance and didn't rely to heavily on one side of the ball. When the offense struggles, the Pats D step it up and vice versa. Meanwhile for Indy during Peyton's time, if the Offense struggles than they lose since Indy was a team built to play with the lead. Which is the reason when the Playoff rolled around. Opposing teams forces the Colts to play catch up which forces their defense to struggle and we know the Colts D can't make the type of game changing plays the Patriots defense could. Sucks for Peyton that he didn't get this kind of team until his last season in Denver. Tom Brady is the greatest player ever. Peyton is probably the best pure QB ever. I mean both guys are great in their own right. If you were to build a franchise and not know their current accomplishment. You can't go wrong with either guy. As long as you get the right pieces, you can have multiply chips with either.

It is not just the playoffs. Peyton consistently underperformed against elite competition in the regular season as well. Peyton was the greatest fantasy football player ever, but considering the amount of talent he was surrounded by and how little he did with it, it is really hard to put him in top 10 QBs.

Wouldn't call Manning a choker but that one play was an immensely costly choke. And let's not act as if Peyton wasn't simply gifted his 2nd ring with Denver. He had the worst postseason stats of any QB to ever win a ring.

"He isn't fast. he isn't strong. he isn't mobile".... why do all you people not understand that among all possible traits, physical ability is among the LEAST desirable traits for a qb?... qbs are meant to throw the ball. not run. you have a running back for running. there are far more valuable traits a quarterback could have than physical talent (besides arm talent, that's a prereq.)

Seriously, Patriots are fine without Tom Brady. Take Rodgers out of the Packers and they become a losing team. Take Brady out of the Patriots and they stay the same. He's a system QB in a terrible division and that's it. He knows it and BB knows it, which is why he took a paycut.
