1 Timothy 3 - [Daily Bible Study]

Branch Together brings Christians together to read the Bible every day. We know as Christians that we are called to "branch out" and reach the world around us, but first we must come "together" and develop habits that help us grow to be more like the people Jesus is calling us to be. So before we Branch Out, we Branch Together. Some people might call this Daily Devotions, or Quiet Time...whatever you call it, our videos kickstart your most important daily habit.

Father God, since I am running a household by myself I ask your help me to have the will, the strength and the wisdom to put my household in order and manage all areas in life with confidence, in accordance with 1 timothy 3, in the name and blood of Jesus Christ, amen and hallelujah!

I need to grow in many aspects in life. Praying that I’ll be perfect in Christ’s eyes before it’s too late.

Deandre, If you have trusted in Christ by faith as your Lord and Saviour then you are already "perfect in Christ's eyes". HE took your place on the Cross for ALL your sins and shortcomings. By faith in HIM and HIS finished work on the Cross we are made whole (complete) in HIM. "There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit." Romans 8:1 "For HE (God) hath made HIM (Jesus), to be sin for us, Who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of GOD in HIM (Christ). 2 Corinthians 5:21 Please don't try to do good works to be saved, trust in Christ alone. "For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God. Not of works, lest any man should boast." Ephesians 2:8,9 If Jesus is GOD, and He is, (see John 1:1-3; Col. 1:14-19; Heb. 1:1,2) when HE died on the Cross as payment for your sin He said, "It is finished". Jesus completed the complete payment for our salvation. According to the Bible, all that is left for us to do is TRUST IN HIM BY FAITH! I am praying for your Deandre that you will understand that principle taught all the way through the Bible. "But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him." Hebrews 11:6

Lol they did the bringing my wife in thing to me ,actually they asked her without my knowing when or where. He's absolutely right the husband is called to be the Shepherd of his household so if he is failing in that regard it's not prudent to give him an overseer position in Ministry

The KJV is the only book you should read. Refer to STONGS dictionary.

KJV is the most difficult translation to understand. We do not recommend it unless the poetic language is particularly nice to you for memorization or something like that. And even then, we recommend reading another translation alongside it to understand the meaning. As far as the comment about linking to STRONGS, there are tools like blue letter bible online or logos bible software that give you even more helpful information. CSB is excellent. So is NLT.
