Right fielder for Jesuit has a Cannon. The fact that that play at third was even remotely close is very impressive.

Man, on the walkoff run, LF had the ball in hand before the runner even got to third! You HAVE to gun that guy down at the plate, 9 out of 10 times. Guess this was the 10th

Crazy amount of errors. And from looking at the scoreboard, they weren’t all counted. CF for IMG is a ball hog, and LF for the Catholics has no arm. Fantastic camera work!

I coach up North and it's crazy how talented these kids are down South. I wish we had the weather to play outside baseball like the south but man these kids are good. I love that you put the Colleges these kids are committed too. It feels like the whole damn lineup is going to a P5 school.

Definitely not 15 errors & they’re number 1 because they’re better than 99.9% of teams on most days.

The amount of tuition these kids pay to go to these schools is ridiculous and one or two at most probably getting a full scholarship to college. You have to pay 20K per year just to go to Jesuit High. More than double that to go to IMG. Crazy

Secretly you wish you could have went to IMG for HS!

Right fielder for IMG has a very weak arm. That runner should not have been able to tag from 2nd to 3rd on that fly ball. And tbh I think at this level and the college level these guys should be using wooden bats. But of course that’s a lot of money to waste because broken bats will be a norm. That’s the only reason they keep using aluminum in Varsity High School baseball and College ball. For both teams to be that highly ranked I saw nothing that impressed me really. They played extremely average of you ask me. I played at a very high level myself 2003-2007 and the talent I saw and faced in the Perfect Game Tournaments and 17U Junior Olympics was a way higher quality than this. My team the Miami Tigers came in 2nd Place at the Junior Olympics. We lost to the Arizona Sun Devils.

Number 1 team in the nation?? This doesn’t look like LSU??!!

Ok. Who puts out these “rankings”? IMG can’t be ranked number 1 in every sport just because they recruit good players. They don’t compete for state titles which is the main goal of high school sports. There are no high school national championship games because if there were we would see it on ESPN.

it is so fuggin annoying seeing these types of schools have nationally ranked top10 teams in every sport and it still doesnt even feel like youre watching a 'TEAM' play. it literally feels like a pro game where each player is playing for themselves and their stats. Yeah they're undeniably good, talented, etc. but it just feels like there is absolutley NO chemistry or team building going on. edit: I umpire high school baseball(among other ages) and I rarely see this outside of travel ball. its just not as common in IHSAA(official high school leagues)

If you read the description of this video it CLEARLY states what rankings we use.

IMG will never be a #1 team in any sport, because they dont even play in a proper conference, or adhere to private school recruiting rules. Nob thanks.
