I have been in Vizag my whole childhood and idili ,dosa is my favourite food !! My mother learnt from Latha aunty to make idili and dosa and i learnt from her !! Now this is large quantity batter for getting 10 to 12 idilis can u pls suggest a measurement ♥️your way of explaining 😋😋

I used to use very less water while grinding the batter….the measures you shared are good and finally my idlis are turning out soft. instead of soy am using a tablespoon of kadle bele ….. Thank you once again 🙏🙏🙏🙏

Though I am very good at making idlis, I watched your video till the end. Very detailed step by step explanation. It will be very useful for complete beginners. And the English subtitles are very useful for non-Kannada persons. Adding soya beans is a new idea. In my opinion, idli would come out very soft for the amount of urad dal itself, you have added. I liked your grinder very much. Small and cute. Best wishes.

Dosa rice is raw rice idli rice/salem rice is boiled rice if we prepare idli with raw rice, idli will turn out little hard. but dosa with raw rice makes it crispy and tasty. dosa with boiled rice makes it little soft . depends on your requirement/taste, you can add the rice you want for dosa sometimes for dosa i usually mix both types of rice and prepare. Nice description I add ground urad dal mixture to rice batter in the grinder and run for few seconds so that both mix well
