Centralized, close to everything in Pattaya, beach, pharmacies that will work with you, supermarkets, nightlife, malls and all that. The Base in Central Pattaya is the place to be. If you have visited Pattaya it is likely that you have stayed here. With an epic rooftop pool, strong wifi and an air conditioned work station it really has all a remote worker/Expat needs. I lived here during Songkran 2024. Do not expect sound sleep during Songkran as it is literally an ALL night party with deafening music being played at max capacity every day AND night of the festival.
Pattaya really is the place to be during Songkran, prepare to be soaked the entire day and night. Basically just walk around in shorts and flip flops, ladies wear your swimsuit and your boyfriend old shirt.
It was fun even for someone like me that doesn’t drink or use illicit drugs. I find that being of a sober mind makes it easier to deny the women that WILL be throwing themselves at you as you pass bar after bar, massage parlor after massage parlor.
I recommend hiring a tuk tuk driver and have your super soaker with you as he takes you around town to bust drive-byes on unsuspecting folks, lol.

Centralizado, cerca de todo en Pattaya: la playa, farmacias que trabajarán contigo, supermercados, vida nocturna, centros comerciales y todo eso. The Base en Central Pattaya es el lugar para estar. Si has visitado Pattaya, es probable que hayas estado aquí. Con una piscina en la azotea épica, wifi potente y una estación de trabajo con aire acondicionado, realmente tiene todo lo que un trabajador remoto/expatriado necesita. Viví aquí durante Songkran 2024. No esperes dormir bien durante Songkran, ya que es literalmente una fiesta durante toda la noche con música ensordecedora que se reproduce al máximo cada día y noche del festival.
Pattaya realmente es el lugar para estar durante Songkran, prepárate para estar empapado todo el día y la noche. Básicamente, solo camina con pantalones cortos y chanclas, las damas usan tu traje de baño y la camisa vieja de tu novio.
Fue divertido incluso para alguien como yo que no bebe ni usa drogas ilícitas. Encuentro que tener una mente sobria hace más fácil negar a las mujeres que se lanzarán hacia ti mientras pasas por bar tras bar, salón de masajes tras salón de masajes.
Recomiendo contratar a un conductor de tuk tuk y llevar tu super soaker contigo mientras te lleva por la ciudad para sorprender a personas desprevenidas, jaja.
