I was thinking the same thing!!!! This was absolutely an inspiring and beautiful talk. I always tell my parents that I’m so annoyed with every speaker just scolding us all the time. It’s not motivating at all. If anything it pushes people away. But what this speaker did was amazing. It made me think and want to do better inshallah. Anyone know who the speaker is? Alhamdulillah I've been doing a whole lot better this year. Once the school year started, I immediately started fasting to compensate for previous years, I managed (although with some fallouts) to pray all 5 salahs daily nd I'm working on memorizing as much as I can of Quran even after Ramadan ends. Being a student while being muslim is very hard especially for someone like me who procrastinates and has a hard time focusing on tasks, but I feel that even if I fail academically I will succeed in improving my deen, and that's more important to me

I couldn’t fast this year cause im wizari ( a hard school year ) that your scores depends on the next chapter of your life. And before you come at me saying that dunya is the test, i know wallah but even my father couldn’t let me. Assalamaleikoum brothers and sisters, i hope the best for you all, i had just a question, does it count For me as improvement if i try and read the quran in french? I still have difficulties with arabi and i thought reading it and understanding it in french would be better than nothing. Ramadan karim brothers and sisters and Allah knows best ❤

One thing I do is in laylatl qadr is read 1000 verse of quran and it is the smallest that is "ha miim" as prophet muhammed said if you read a verse 1000 times you will get a belly of a cow filled with gold other hadithes saying you recover a great reward... so saying it in laylatl qadr it is like you said it for 1000 month and that is one big of reward... alhamdulillah(the most beloved that of/given by allah)
