Thanks Ash, this video was a game changer for my account. I synergized pain keeper with crimson helm and sepulcher sentinal. This allowed me going from ice golem 14 to 17 and she is just lv 50 so far. That’s the second time your video do wonders, last time was making discover Basher. That moved me from bronze 3 to silver. Continue the good work!

absolutly love those 2 champ, glad you made a vid on them, pain keeper is so underrated and reliquary is so good in dragon, they are far better than most epic in this game, keep up the good work ash love your channel

Great video, thanks again Ash. I was fortunate enough to get Miscreated Monster early to be my shield buffer so I put both Reliquary Tender and Pain Keeper in relentless sets and they keep everyone alive. And with Pain Keeper in Relentless she can boost MM shield skill to stay up almost 100% of the time.

Hey ASH! Really love what you are doing! Really helped me with clearing spider15 full auto in my F2P account. Thanks Man!

Other interesting synergies: Miscreated monster's passive works with other champions' ally protect buffs (e.g. Tyrant, Jareg). I also recently learned about a synergy between Rotos's A2 and Skull Lord's passive (if an enemy whose hp was reduced by Rotos attacks Skull Lord, the latter will place true fear on them)

Very interesting video! I use in the same spirit pain keeper (unfortunately not with a shield set ,just immortal set for her) and Raglin in relentless set who is performing just as R. Tender but quicker ( less cool down)

@@ASH-RAID free to play is fun to watch. Saw u had a restart video.. was great at the start until you just skipped to show all the decision making process.

About timing, I think you are 100% right. I recently started hitting Dragon's 20 thanks to the combo Jareg + SoD (Kael, Apothecary and Warmaiden folllow). It takes from 6 to 9 minutes everytime, but it's 100% winrate, very easy. I also have a Seer route, but I don't have Mausoleum Mage nor the required amount of damage to kill the wave consistently. It's like a 70% winrate, no good at all. I prefer a lot more the 100% winrate route with SOD and Jareg instead of a 4 minute run with Seer at 70% winrate.

An anti-synergy everyone probably knows about: shield and reflect damage don't work well together. If you damage a champion with both shield and reflect damage you get zero reflected damage. Reflect damage only works if you hit HP.

I love the combo videos! I'm still working on my Apo., Scyl, Bellower trio. Bell's at 5-star. Almost complete! I followed your Pain Keeper with a shield set and my RTender is at 5-star as well. Not sure if I have a good Relentless for Tender though.

My painkeeper runs a relentless set. When you get multiple extra turns and use pain keeper to reduce your other team members CD skills, it's amazing.

Hmm. I have one tuned for my unkillable clan boss team, but this is a fantastic idea for everywhere else. I should look in my vault and see if I have another one. I may have fed several of her to the one, to save space ... ooh, nope. Got one left. (And a few Reliquary Tenders ... but I pulled Raglin this morning, so probably won't need her.) Thanks for the idea!

Hey Ash, I’ve been playing around with Doompriest in a shield set and Umbral for CC where he puts out the provoke and then gets his self debuff cleansed so he can follow up AOE block buffs. Seems like decent utility for mob dungeons... I’d be curious on how you would do gear and masteries on these two for dungeons.

I love watching your videos ash. I watch them everyday. Your guides have helped me tonnes. Please please do a guide on Rae. She has been my most favourite pull and I think she is underrated. And I love her. I noticed you have her so please a good arena/dungeon guide :)

Thanks Ash, I have bellower and Scyl, tried them both in stun sets, didn't get enough use of scyl in stun set, so she's back in lifesteal. Martyr, Valk, Scyl, Tayrel, Kael make a good Dragons 20 team, but can only do Spiders 13 reliably.

You talk about upgrading champs. Would love to see some thematic videos on champion roles and who to use for what purpose and who to replace them with as you get higher rarities (rare to epic to legendary). Thanks!

Yes! Use this Rare until you get this Epic and then replace with this Leggo. Otherwise this rare or epic is better than any Leggo.

Oh also, an interesting pair I've found are Helicath and Black Knight. The 2 turn Continuous Heal and 2 turn 60% def...on a 2 turn cool down...are amazing for Helicath. With Helicath's shield/block damage they just go and go and go and go lol.

This team does dragon faster than mine, on average, which just further solidifies in my mind that gear is EVERYTHING in this game.

Gear is indeed the main thing that helps you progress in dungeons. Before you can get the good stuff you need to farm some lower level gear in order to reach dragon 20.

Ash(walker), love this vid man. Thanks for making it. I'm struggling to hit level 20 dungeons (only spider so far) So many substitutes I'd like to try out. I've got Duchess Lilitu or Lyssandra for lead. I've got the Bellower & Thylessia combo for spreading debuffs, or add in Demytha? I've got Foli if he's any good in this mix. Or I've got Rae (I think she does a 33% speed aura in all dugeons?) and maybe she'd be a good lead/nuker. Any thoughts Ash or community? Also if you do any account takover vids, i'm a FTP with 50M silver, 18k gems, and lots of good champs sitting at 50 with lots of food and books.

Well said, consistent access to high lvl gear is the first gamechanger milestone. From there based on the good gears can be accelerated.

great video i dont have painkeeper. but my dream underrated duo is tender and apo apo has the speed buff and single target heal and tender has aoe heal, revive and cleanse btw. i build my tender with 6 speed pieces because its more consistent. 4 speed parts means 25% more speed, so the effect is pretty much the same as the relentless set

Lay on Hands, Healing Savior, Merciful Aid work with Reliquary Tender now. I tried it and it works increases the heals quite a bit.

2 rare which i used to complete dragon20 was Apothecary and Grinner. The both have the skill set similar to Arbiter. speed, heal and reviver, remove debuff, increase atk. what do you think?

I use mysterious monster and witch they work great for how I have them suited out

I've got both of them but each in different account. Luckily, I put Reliquery Tender paired with Mousoleum Mage and they're awesome.

Would this combo work with Cardinal instead of reliquary tender?

Would it be good to do two combos? Like Bellower/Scyl with Painkeeper/Reliquary Tender in the same team?

painkeeper plus either Relic Keeper or Apothecary can pull this off especially if you have them booked and in reasonable gear. as far as a synergy pairing that works insanely well for me is Martyr plus Krisk the Ageless.

Just started playing this game. Man wish I started earlier. I'm having so much fun. Is there any benifit joining a clan? Love the videos!

Just an access to Clan Boss, but it's quite important to have access to it since at higher difficulty (Nightmare & Ultra Nightmare) Clan Boss would be a source for books and shards

The duo Warcaster (block damage) + Knight-Errant (always full hp for A3, "Death Warrant") could be fun.

Reliquary Tender is one my favorite champions in the game. she does use a lot of books, but once you decrease the cooldown on A2 and A3, you don't really need to book A1. she's not a damage dealer and on CB and dungeons you want the strong decrease attack anyway. i did fully book her, because i keep pulling dups from void shards, but if you get lucky on the cooldowns, don't waste books

Would this work with 5* RT and PK? I just spent my last food on upgrading Madame Serris, and already way over budget when it comes to spending gems on energy. Would love to be able to pull something like this off without spending a couple more months!

When painkeeper forst came out she was insane! Then a nerf and pissed me off lol

You are so right about speed runs. We have auto clickers for a reason. As long as it is 100% you can run it over night. Or during dinner. Or when you are at work. Or...

I pulled RT recently but I don't have a Pain Keeper - any good substitute for her? Or is she really the main character that RT pairs with like this?

M Monster and Scyl is a sick combo... reliquary and Serris is another nice pair

I love PK just built her for CB, the other one never used her yet.

Didn't get Reliquary tender until after I got lucky and pulled Raglin. So she's just cozy in my vault

Finally a team I have and know how to work with

I accidently had my team with the martyr in ice golem do counter attack, and have my champs trade blows with the golem back and forth all the way till he could no longer do his health level based riposte, wasn’t even on auto as it just cycled over and over till he was left with a quarter of his hp... it was pretty funny.

Valla and Commander work amazing together

Would Reflex Set be a good option for reliquary?

Love this. Only needed a Reliquary. I have a request, please try two Taurus with Elenrail (the high elf chick with golden mask n long wig) and if possible explain the speed n accuracy so that we can able to beat upto lvl 13 of all dungeons. I have watched many videos on KZread but they were explaining about lvl 20 dungeons. But for early n mid games, you don't have that kind of gear to build a champion with 230 speed n with a good accuracy.

I just pulled Pain Keeper and 3 Coldhearts, My Reliquary is already 50 and booked so all I need is gear them up

Vrask + scyl of the drakes + apothcary and any 2 damage dealers can also do the same right ?

My suggestion: seer and maneater. The block debuff and unkillable prevent seer to die and provide already 8 buffs on your team, making seer dmg higher already. You can use your speed tune template. With a third hero putting loads of buffs, you wipe teams even if you your whole team dont go first.

Drexthar and krypt king graal are a good combo for spiders den

Really digging these tag team type combinations as well as some of the more left field coverage on other champions. Giving a lot of lease of life to many of my vault champions. Have 6 starred RT based off this as she is making a huge difference to my dungeons across the board. Working on Painkeeper next and have her at 5 stars. Can't wait to see the 2 of them in action. Love the content, keep it up!

Ash, what is with this uncompleted sets? Why are not completed?

I got like my 3rd Ancient Shard today and I opened it cause it was a 2 times event and I got Crimson Helm. At this point I don't even care if I get a legendary or not.

Got 4 of this 5 champions and can swap the apothecary for khatun, for example. The next step is easiest - to farm 6* items from 10 spider and 11 fire knight to make this couple work well! :D :D :D

Been thinking about powerful combinations. Now, this may not be the biggest and flashiest.. Seer + Norog. Seer strips off the buffs from the enemy and your team, potentially leaving you very vulnerable if she doesn’t kill everyone. However, once your team’s buffs are gone-Norog’s newly upgraded passive kicks into high gear: 25% damage mitigation from any attacks. Survive long enough to bring your buffers back to power.

I have only 2 level 4 great hall upgrades and I can do Dragon's 20 with Kael, Warmaiden, Jareg, Apothecary and SoD. It's basically the same concept (slow and steady with a stunner and a reviver). I also have worse gear. It's doable, but it will take time (it takes 6 to 9 minutes for me). The thing is: it's consistent, 100% winrate and will help you get better gear. You really don't need a great hall at all with that strategy.
