I just realized that these dudes have a 5-star player at every position Pg: 1 Cade Cunningham (#2 player in the county) Sg: 0 Dariq Whitehead (5-star Sophomore) & 13 Landon Love (5-star Junior) Sf: 11 Scottie Barnes (top 10 Senior in the county) Pf: 22 Caleb Houston (5-star Sophomore... top 5) C: 23 Day’Ron Sharpe (5-star senior) They all for together so well, and their games compliment each other’s. They’re also really good on defense..... this is easily one of the most complete HS teams in recent memory.

I’ve been following them since 2012 and I’ve seen all their talent. I guess when you have a great coach and D1 facilities not to mention great weather it’s hard to beat

this year was supposed to be the year Montverde got revenge and won Geico Nationals... and then rona happened

Been saying since summer IMG has great team, but MVA got better especially picking up Barnes. They got bomb squad 9 nationally ranked players tough to compete let alone they got best two defender in country with cade and Barnes and if y’all wondering yes cade D up watched them live twice at hoophall classic in Springfield and the national semifinal vs IMG in person these kids defend on another level

Bro it's not even like Dematha pushovers like that either. They have two player going high-major ACC and I'm pretty sure the rest of the starters had D1 offers. Montverde is just THAT good. The only team that will probably be able to stay in a game with them is Prolific.

They face The Patrick School in John Wall Tourney. 6 high major D1 players over 6-8; including Jonathan, the most overpowering player in high school. Will be a tough game for Pat's, no sleeping on them though. TPS gets little love, and will sneak up on folks. OK; one poll has 'em #3 nationally LOL,,,they get some love.

@@andrewsharpe3934 Yes he is eligible and playing. Noah is...umm....getting adjusted to playing at Pat's LOL. Definitely a change from his days at IMG. Lots of discipline at TPS. He will be playing though, and during scrimmages when he and Jonathan have played together, they have looked sensational.

For poeple that is asking why so many top player go to montverbe to not even start, its because montverbe has the best programme for basketball, look how many player now that was in montverbe are doing now, ben Simmons, d’angelo, rj etc and their plany player in ncaa that are doing well...

Naw they don’t de a that plays in the Wcac and wcac teams aren’t allowed to compete in the geico national championship. Pvi is another great team that doesn’t get to go cuz the are in the same division

Montverde could beat some small D1 teams. Most college teams, even power 5 schools would be lucky to have more than 2 5stars on the court. I don’t think Montverde could beat any power 5 school because of age, strength, etc. but definitely could beat smaller D1 schools
