    I traded in my Toyota for the new Raptor. I'm standing on 69 300km without any issues. Ford really did well. The Raptor is not Next-gen, its just Next-level!

    Picked mine up a couple of weeks ago in Carbonized Gray. It is so much fun to drive, and I’ve told people that if BMW made a truck, it would drive like this Ranger Raptor.

    read up on the reinforcements for the bed. Apparently you MUST put them on before adding any gear on to the bed

    I received mine 12 months ago in Australia and I fitted a heavy duty steel winch bumper and winch, so I had a set of 2 inch Kings springs fitted to level it and it rides like it was made for it all. Also fitted a built in ARB air compressor. And I fitted true 33 inch mud tyres and it's perfect, anything bigger will cause you dramas when you jump it.

    That's awesome. Yah id like to fit true 33s atleast, definitely missing tire height offroading

    @@DavidFigs haha yeah when I got to the part in the video where you mentioned that it made more sense. I was wondering how on earth someone could get rid of the gen 1😂

    How does it compare to the 1st gen f-150 Raptor? I just recently sold my 1st gen f-150 Raptor and was considering the ranger raptor.

    One month 8300 miles. Drove down the entire length of Padre Island, hit sand dunes in New Mexico and even took on Hell's revenge in MOAB. Love this little truck only 2 complaints one living in the south ventilated seats are really a must. 2 than 107 governor needs bumped up. In a 85mph speed zone you really don't have much room for passing especially when people speed up as you pass (Honda drivers right). Issues I have had the screen go black 5 times already which is a easy 10 sec fix holding down the outside steering wheel buttons. The other issues is I have had a few what felt like miss shifts at slow acceleration

  • @DavidFigs

    @DavidFigs

    Wow that's incredible!!! Good for you man, love it hear that. I've only gotten the black screen once on my first drive home. The shifts feel weird in sport mode for me, to clunky

    I have the exact same Ranger Raptor, cactus gray with the decal pack. Hopefully you have better luck than me. My cam phasers went out at 1200 miles and it’s been in the shop for a month and a half getting the engine replaced and there’s no ETA on the turbos so I have to lemon law it.

    @@fullhd1080 on coldstart had a very loud diesel clattering that would go away after about 10 seconds but anytime you would let the truck cool down it would make the noise on start up again. For some reason, Ford cannot figure out how to make cam phasers.

    So this is one important thing for me and its going to determine if i get the RR or another F150 Raptor, do the rear passenger windows roll down all the way? I know its minor but on my 2021 Ranger, they didnt and i personally HATE it. I think they do on this but I'm not 100% so I'm asking the question.

    If you go bigger tire..assuming the mpg will suffer some for sure. Sounds like you basically want to run a bfg 315 like factory 150 tire since they aren't a true 35 and measure around 34.4. Also wonder about acceleration impact.. dunno

  • @DavidFigs

    @DavidFigs

    Ай бұрын

    Yah that's actually exactly what I'm looking at tbh. I need to figure out perch size, wheel combo. I don't want to buy the wrong stuff. Definitely will hurt mpg/speed but not too significant I hope

    I believe that the rest of the Rangers that aren't the Raptor model, will tow 7500 pounds. So if you want to tow, spec out an XLT or a Lariat model. But if you don't need to tow and you want the performance of the Raptor, this is definitely that truck!

  • @DavidFigs

    @DavidFigs
