I'm a first time malinois owner. He was previously abandoned in a farm, the family that rescued him gave him to me after a week because they couldn't handle him. I too was ready to give up on him after the first week, but I love him too much and I just couldn't do that to any of my dogs (I have Weiner dogs). My brother recommended your videos, they have been a lifesaver, he is such a good boy now. He just entered the teenage phase, your videos have helped in getting through this phase with more ease.

I would love to see Deegan! Your channel is a great resource for dog owners. Thank you. I had a comment for the person with the puppy who likes to play keep away. That's a dog's favorite game with other dogs. Just watch them. I directed my puppy to an acceptable, high value toy--sometimes even an exchange. But I also found that not reacting and running the *other way* got the dog's attention. "What're they doing? Must be more interesting than this!" and they'd come right to me. That way I never reinforced the fun of keep away. Just a thought. I'm sure the real trainers have said it better! Good luck to you! Hello from North Minneapolis, MN USA! I have a pet sitting business. I just said goodbye to my aged service dog Charlie. Now I have a new 10 month old pocket AmShire rescue female...Esther! She is wonderful. One of the pressing issues with Esther is that she is dog reactive. When she does 'get along' she is too intense and too enthusiastic and only patient but firm dogs can last through the initial greeting to when she finally settles down. I am planning to enroll her in a reactive doggie course but cannot until sept because of my work/holiday schedules. Whatever suggestions you have to help in the meantime would be deeply appreciated. Watching from Japan! Love all your videos!We have a 4 month old flat coated retriever! We also have 4 kids so it’s been hard keep an eye on every single thing! He will go to the bathroom outside on the deck if I am very diligent to let him out and practically make him go. But if I let him in too quick or think he doesn’t need to go he will not hold it long and will still go on the floor or in his crate! What can I do?😄

She's been sleeping on our bedroom floor and didn't look too keen on her new place. Is it too late to crate train her and get her to sleep there, after a whole week of "freedom"?

Hi have a 4 month old teacup yorkie and got her at 3 months. She started out being in a crate and she has no issues with being in it at all. I was letting her out every 2 hours and she was doing great going on a pee pad or going outside. But then she started tearing up the pads. She also cannot stay all night in the crate without peeing. Once in awhile she can. I feed her food and drink on a schedule and don't free feed. So have now i put her crate in a play pen with fake grass mats. At this stage I'm not sure what to do with your saying don't use a play pen. We live in Utah and in the winter she can't go outside. She's too little. I have 2 other dogs and a cat that ring a bell to go outside. I would love for my little yorkie to learn that later. Her name is Mochi. How do I join your Monday puppy class?
