Reyna wont die if she gets no souls, but her sister, it is belived that some kind of experiment Viper tried on her went wrong and now Reyna collets souls to keep her alive, you can hear that in some Voicelines where she says "for you hermanita", reminds Viper of the things she has done to her... also there is a playercard where Viper and a young girl that looks similar to reyna walk into a laboratory together

im not sure if she actually experimented on her or actually is trying to help her. when viper and reyna are on a team, there is a voiceline from viper " if you want results, i need those souls " to reyna . so maybe reyna is working with viper cuz she is the only person that can help her sister.

Lore nerd here, most of the was right if not a little simplified. for example in the newest cinematic Omen's backstory is revealed, he was a hitman for the same organization that Iso worked for, he was sent to kill Viper but she attacked him with poison and trapped him in some sort of experiment. Also there's a playcard with a few agents in a band, Breach is playing the drums.

I don't think Viper killed Omen on purpose I believe it was just an experiment gone wrong and Viper doesn't know that Omen was a hitman Also could be that Viper trusted Sage to resurrect Omen once her experiment failed and she did a half-ressurection, resulting in Omen, hence Viper's hatred towards Sage

I am going to add onto this and combine it with the Octopus theory. Now that we know he died cause of Viper, we do know Sage revived him. However, it has been HEAVILY hinted that Sage has to take a life to give a life (from where we don't know). I suspect she took an Octopus's life to give Omen his life back but that's why he didn't come back fully human. @@levi3933

@@shimmerofdarkness330 it's just speculation but radiants became stronger than they were before with most radiant agents being overpowered (e.g. Astra controlling the cosmos, Skye controlling the nature, Jett making tornados in the flick of a hand; imagine the most anime thing that radiants can pull off) in KAY/O's timeline and they're basically uncontrollable and unstoppable. That's why they're comparable to pretty much god levels of scaling.

Essentially the radiant agents in the protocol aren't fully in tune with their power and use a toned down version of them. Skye in particular basically can give life and create ANYTHING (hinted she experimented with other forms with voicelines but issue is she can't control them so she only makes what she can control). In Kayo's timeline all radiants have full control of their powers and its devasting. @@shimmerofdarkness330

A few more facts: Omen was working for an organisation and was supposed to kill Viper. He also takes care of a Bonzai tree. Killjoy and Raze are in a relationship. Kay/o comes from an Alternate Universe where the Radiants and humans are at a war. It is also implied that in that universe, Brimstone, Phoenix, Astra and Sage are dead. Sage manipulates jade and the reason she can heal and revive people is because in Ancient China, jade was theorised to have healing powers and was used for decorating the clothes of royalty. Back when Brimstone was young, he was a hardcore gamer as seen in the arcade bundle trailer (unless he was just cocky like any gamer). Alpha Chamber has made a deal with the Omega Chamber. We don't know what that deal is yet, but it's anything but positive. Neon is so supercharged that she is technically a walking telsa pylon. It is also implied that direct physical contact with her will fry someone. Deadlock refers to the bear that took her arm as a jötunn. According to the Scandinavian mythology, a jötunn is a giant.

Jett - her voice line does not reference paella but something called dallae, which is a korean chive. you also don't chop paella, it's a spanish rice dish Skye - to specify, it's implied that skye's radiant powers are related to life energy and her wooden sculptures aren't just being animated but brought to life. omen calls skye "lifeweaver" and reyna implies skye's power being potentially as untapped as neon's (and we know neon has a ridiculously high amount of untapped potential) Omen - he enjoys tasks that keep him focused, knitting happens to be one of them. more recent cinematics show omen doing bonsai. also he's confirmed to be an ex-hitman for the scions of hourglass (the organization iso worked for) until he was ordered to kill viper, at which point viper retaliated with her acid and trapped omen in a chamber that tore him apart into what he is now. my personal interpretation (take this with a chunk of salt) is that the chamber was some kind of high intensity radianite exposure chamber that kingdom used to potentially attempt the creation of artificial radiants hence omen's questionable classification. Reyna - she doesn't harvest souls to stay alive, but instead to supply viper with souls to keep reyna's sister alive. the souls are being gathered by reyna and given to viper, who uses some process to give the energy to reyna's sister, but the soul-life support energy conversion is so poor that reyna is constantly harvesting souls to simply sustain her sister's precarious state. Phoenix - small tidbit of detail i think i saw but phoenix was a theater kid Sage - her abilities are either made of jade or radianite. her gun buddy in her agent contract is specifically a radianite orb gun buddy and sage has multiple similar orbs attached to her belt Viper - her change likely occurred after her aforementioned assassination attempt by omen. sage failing to restore omen after viper potentially regretted trapping omen in the chamber may have been the cause. Deadlock - she lost her arm when vaporizing a polar bear turned radivore that her and her (now dead) comrades were tasked to protect a kingdom employee from as seen in that clip. kinda why she's shown to have an initial distrust of gekko and his creatures.

He is particularly correct with the Reyna one, I believe at least. Reyna collects souls for both her AND her sister, they both need them, Viper splits the souls apart so that they can both be fed but a lot of the energy is lost during the process of splitting the souls. That's why Reyna constantly needs more.

i believe sage's abilities were crystallised radianite. it was debunked a while ago that they were not ice, and if they are radianite that would explain why she knows so much about iso (she sends a voicemail to brimstone when iso first joins regarding his ultimate, talking about how he forms it from radianite and calls him an architect). ive seen a lot of theories on what sage's abilities are, but the valorant lore wiki confirms its radianite. phoenix also mentions to omen that he 'loves a guy who knits' and omen responds with how it helps him stay together. i also believe that brimstone is part of the band on base, i think breach tells him about a 'usual jam session' and kayo and sova i think is mentioned as well. just some thoughts! great video as always

omen lore - omen whose real name which starts with "Ja-" said by viper in one of her voiceline "Ja- , i mean omen..." was a ginnie pig for kingdom, when kingdom along with viper wanted to make a new weapon named "shrouded step" omen was the candidate for that experiment and at the time of experiment something went wrong and he started to get ripped apart like he did in the new valorant video. After that sage helped omen by transferring his soul into an armour which caused him to loose most of his memories but by staying with the other agents he gained some of them. He has a bunch of voicelines when he kills other agents like "how many times did i die? how many times did i get ripped apart?" or "you can rest now."

omen also could be iso, since iso's name is Li Zhao Yu, and Zha makes a ja noise, so viper might have been saying "Zha-, I mean Omen..."

if you look at kj's alarm bot right before it turns invisible, it's collapsed form with the legs tucked in looks pretty identical in shape to the body of raze's boom bot, so that's probably what's going on there

sage also messed it up to res omen when viper was doing experenments when omen was a human and also raze built the arms or breach hands and the last fact is that reyna wants to kill is to get orbs to save her sister and viper dublicates the orbs to save reyna as well

8:13 an addition: Chamber has actually made a custom weapon for someone and it's Deadlock. phantom in her agent select screen is made by Phantom. It can even be seen during main menu screen before 7.04 where chamber and deadlock were discussing the gun's prototype Late addition but also, from new breach and deadlock interaction, it looks like Breach also does "comedy shows"

my personal opinion, on the valorant act episode thingy omen was revealed to be a scientist. He was doing experiments called shadow step, one of his ability names, and my theory is that the octopus itself had powers and was being tested on. Then what happed in the cinematic is that there was some accident, so I think the mysterious octopus tranferred it's power to omen through a scientific accident

I'm hearing so many things." and her other line quotes "Keep being their nightmare, old friend." Omen's other hobbies are bonsai(growing little trees), and reading... Most probably bcz he lost his memory due to the obliteration from the first light

That theory has been essentially 100% disproven with the most recent cinematic - they’re both just assassins that’s literally the only similarity between them. The rest of that theory was just people saying “well you can’t prove that he ISN’T omen!!!” 😂

I have a running headcannon that omen has a connection to octopuses through his ripping, or he had a previous connection with one. If I go the ripping route, then I believe he was ripped apart into 8 "pieces" and that's why the octopus is important is because the 8 legs. If we go the connections route I believe it was because he had a pet octopus.
