    Hello! that was a nice "how to" video but what you do to let your resin bubble free? Perhaps it was the part you put some "lighter" close to the resin at 2:13?

    you did not show the finished ring or cross - is there another video to see the completed job? I really think it's a wonderful project, but would love to see the product at the begining or at the end. I want to learn your techniques :) thanks

    I agree with you as well. I want to know how to put a real life rose inside or have inside of epoxy resin and have it look like it's frozen in time. I want it to keep its shape. What I would like to do is have a bouquet of roses coated in resin to preserve them forever. Hopefully I'm making sense

    Hi Elizabeth, There is second part of this project, I might didn't show complitely how to finish the ring because I just gave the ideas what you could do with the molds that I produce and sell. I might be soon will create a new video where I can share how to trimm and finish the ring adges. Thank you:)

    Hi, The finished product is in pt2 of the tutorial. kzread.info/dash/bejne/gXt5pteDqrPFfLA.html Precautions would be based on your selection of resin, but i recommend safety glass and goid ventilation and or respirator, again safety instructions of the resin. Work at normal room temp and the working time will be resin specific as well, but will be in manufacturers instructions. It being easy all depends on the user. It is best to be very exact in your measurements and follow the instructions/working parameters. Thanks

    Why did you apply flame to the resin after mixing it (2:15)? Is that part of the process or some way to tell if it's mixed enough?

  • @ThumpertTheFascistCottontail

    @ThumpertTheFascistCottontail

    8 жыл бұрын

    +Craig Chatterton This is done to help avoid trapping air bubbles in the resin. The heat from the flame bursts the air bubbles as they rise close to the surface of the resin.

    Amanda L. Yes you can take flowers and leave them in the back of a book so that all of the weight is pushed onto them for about a month . They will dry this way. Once you dry them you can use them in crafts.

    Hi. Just watched a few of your videos, and found them really interesting, However, I was quite disappointed that you didn't explain anything as you went along. It's hard to follow along when you don't know what materials are being used, such as, what did you use to make the blue color? Was it liquid ink, food coloring, or what? Also, what is the resin mixture? I'm assuming it's part resin, and part hardener, but how much of each one? After pouring the mixture into the molds, how long do they have to set until they are dry? Lastly, what do you use to take off any excess after pieces are taken out of the molds? Words would have been very helpful, instead of listening to music.

    Hi Jackie I have very broken English I don't think many people will understand me, sorry for that. I used Epoxy resin, dry flowers and blue alcohol ink. Resin cured 24 h after removing the casting from the mold I sand out all rough edges and added a jump ring and bead jewelry cap, it's show in a Part #2.
