i would love to see a (video) identification guide to all the umbelliferous plants of the uk. they all look very similar and are hard to tell apart. there are plenty of clips on grasses, meadows and wildflowers, but not very much on umbellifers, and the same goes for books and laminated fold out field guides. to me, theyre the essence of the undomesticated and evoke the semi-wild in lowland britain more than any other type of plant.

There is an app on the iPhone called “picture this” You take a picture of any flower or plant or leaf and the app will tell you what it is. The app is very accurate.
