pov: its your birthday party and someone plays this song. just then in that moment you get shot and fall to the ground. this song gets muffled out as you hear screams and people calling your name. this is all you hear for the next hour, as everyone lefts and the songs on repeat. as you slowly begin consciousness again, you say "not like you ever tried to stay" at the same time as the song, when you notice everyone is gone, but than hear a whispering voice behind you....

It was going so well, me and him were practically already a couple, running to each other in a flower field. Centimetres and seconds away from just touching each other, and everything came crushing down on me. My world changed, everything changed. I met her. I thought maybe my life was supposed to go this way, maybe I was asking for too much in *him* . Then, I realised this path wasn’t all heaven. Things changed yet again, but more drastically and worse. And before I knew it, I realised I should’ve stayed to my second pick. Even if i knew it was supposed to be my first pick, fair and square, I put so much effort on the second. I wasn’t supposed to leave him. We were so close, he had even already appeared in my world, I carved our initials on my wrist, next to the lines of suffering that I had hoped would end after I met him. But it was too late. I had walked through the other direction and was begging for him back, but there was no way. I walked too far and the entrance was blocked. I couldn’t try and find him again, and abandon everything I had now. Even though it was all bad, I wouldn’t be able to. Another thought. I can’t explain this pain to *anyone* Not like the emotional pain I’ve had before which others have helped me out with, or tried, but this. No one would understand this pain. They’d call me crazy and forget about me. So now, I lay down all day, no motivation, constantly having out of body episodes for minutes scaring me till my death. Just laying, thinking, what can I do now. I can’t reach out to him anymore. I ruined it. I feel no purpose in life anymore. I can’t bother telling people I feel suicidal or like I want to self harm at times. I should just let myself go. And now, my death feels even closer. It’s almost comforting. Not like I ever tried to stay. With no one to hold, there’s no point anymore.

pov: you woke up at 4am after having a nightmare. you lay there on the bed, thinking about what'd happened in the nightmare as well as in the reality. your tears started to drop more and more when all of those thoughts, those memories kept repeating over and over again. your chest started to hurt, and you could hardly breathe. everything suddenly became blurry while this song was being played in your mind. "feels like i'm falling out" you passed out after that line was voiced.

" you killed me, let me go please" you sat there suddenly your surroundings started crumbling before you. "b-but i thought you loved me" you said with tears streaming down your face "I did" he said looking down "I really did", then it all came flooding back. flashback: "IT'S NOT LIKE YOU EVER TRIED TO STAY" you shouted at your boyfriend who was now standing next to the door ready to leave. " I TRIED TO LOVE YOU I REALLY DID BUT YOUR CRAZY, I LOVE SOMEONE ELSE NOW, LET ME GO" he said trying to fight you off his arm, "no please don't leave me" you say pleading. "I'm sorry" he finally gets free from your grip, "goodbye" just as he turns towards the door. *BANG* he falls to the floor with one hand holding his stomach area. "I'm so sorry I'm so sorry" you say with tears streaming down your face "l-let me go please" "I cant" you say with a shaky voice "but if I cant have you no else can". you watch as he takes his last breathe, "I love you". flashback ends "please stay" you say holding onto him as tight as you can. "You murdered me" he says in disbelief. "but I just wanted you to love me" you say. "goodbye" he says as he fades into thin air. You reach out but no use, his gone forever now... * it's been a decade since that incident your a grandmother now with no husband who unfortunately died* "HAPPY NEW YEARS" you shouted as you look at your daughter who was with her boyfriend. "I hope she doesn't kill him too"...

After i've been left alone by all of my friends even someone i thought i loved it feels like it can't get worse but when i hear this song it makes me realize that things get worse there is no stop to the pain.
