Some 15 years ago I was sitting and having dinner with my best friends in my courtyard behind the house. We were at the age of 22 yrs maybe, young fellas and rare at that age who listened to the Blues. I inserted CD "Riding with the King" by Eric Clapton and B.B. King. At one moment the track "Three O'Clock Blues" began to play... and it struck me so much that I remember even today the words I told them: "This is so good that it hurts!". I could've felt literally how much each note hits my heart and soul. Only soulless people can never feel the emotion that Blues have. Your playlist is amazing @Don'sTunes and thank you for sharing with all the Blues lovers these perfect and timeless tunes!

I remember i downlowded this whole 1 hour of blues on my nokia phone when i was in my finals in my graduating school year . I was listenning to this over and over again while i'm studying and i literally never get tired of it. Lol now i can sing along with every song . I somehow appreciate this music now . Just really getting in to the blues! And I love it! Been playing guitar for years and recently started playing blues, there is so much you can do with blues and I love it

My neighbors don't like any kind of music. Called cops as 4th song was playing, I was blowing my harp, couldn't stop to listen to cop. He just sat down and started listening to an old 70 year old man in a wheelchair, after song was over, got up, didn't say a word, and went to my neighbors house and left.

When I listen to music my neighbors listen to music ha ha!

Music is communication. But, there is nothing so smooth, that slides like slow blues. Nothing that speaks like the blues. Blues, whispers closely straight into your ear; you hardly need to listen, you'll hear it. It melts like cotton candy. Beautiful. Next to classical, for me, no language makes more sense. If that makes any sense. True intimacy goes far beyond my heart. My heart's been broken, many times. My soul can only understand notes played only very rarely. You hear some of them now. Beautiful.

I'm an aspiring lead. I really love how blues turns such simple, and sometimes slow riffs into something so deep and touching. Blues improv is my main goal as a guitarist, but I honestly haven't heard much blues over my lifetime, so I'm spending the next couple months just listening to playlists like these so I can learn and get inspiration.

Don's Tunes My pleasure Don, it feels great seeing these video’s do extremely well. At least it means that not all hope is lost with the music-industry nowadays. Of course times have changed, people have figured out how to make a shitload of money making simple beats and saying the same 4 lines over and over again. But it’s music like this that makes people go ‘wow’. When I’m hanging out in my garden with buddies and having a lovely glass of wine or and ice-cold beer with a fire basket glowing with heat, music like this is what makes people go silent and enjoy the moment. These moments are things I live for. Everyone is completely relaxend and chilled out, nothing to worry about, no stress, no nothing. I also like to play Buena Vista Social Club, I’ve lost count of how many times people have asked me to share my playlist with that relaxed Cuban sound. Love you Don

I'm parked on the Seawall in Galveston Texas period very foggy day can only see about 1/2 Mile out to the Gulf. The waves are breaking the temperature is cool. And I'm jamming on this excellent beautiful music that some called the blues but I call it soulful. Thanks Don tunes for all that you do. You hit the spot. I do believe Peter Green did this song also.
