추운 겨울날, 안동 월영교에 다녀왔다
그늘 한 귀퉁이에 몇 겹으로 얼어있던
부서진 얼음 한조각
크리스탈처럼 반짝였지만
너무나 차가웠기에
두 손을 여러 번 놓을 수밖에 없었다
너무나 아름다웠지만 차가운,
차갑지만 너무나 아름다운
한겨울의 얼음 크리스탈을
피아노의 음색으로 표현하고 싶었던
Cold Cristal
2. Happiness
이번 앨범은 대부분 가을부터 겨울에 걸쳐서 작업을 했다
곡을 쓰고 보니, 아련한 슬픔이 많이 들어있었다.
그래서 분위기를 전환하고 싶은 마음이 가득 솟았다
피아노의 하이 영역에서 손을 튕기면서 놀던 중
하나의 멜로디가 생각나고
이어서 발전을 시켜본 곡이다.
이 곡으로 싱그러움과 밝음을 느껴보시길!
3. Dust
나의 작업 공간 바로 앞은
환한 유리창이다
빛이 쏟아질 때,
곡 작업을 하다가
가만히 쳐다보면 보이는 먼지들
이 곡을 쓸 땐
가을에서 겨울로 가는 계절이었고
계절의 쓸쓸함이 겹겹이 쌓이는 느낌이 들어서
Dust로 제목을 만들어봤다
쓸쓸함이 느껴지는지?
4. Shooting Star
초반에 만들었던 제목은 Unknown Place다
미지의 세계를 탐험하는 그런 기분을 담고 싶었다
이 곡을 듣던 아이는
Shooting Star라는 멋진 제목을 알려주었다
듣는 사람마다
다르게 해석되는 게 신기했고
아이의 느낌이 훨씬 마음에 들어서
제목을 바꿨다
그랬더니 좀 더 신비로운 느낌이 드는 곡으로 완성이 되었다.
5. Secret Wish
아련한 슬픔을 표현하고 싶었던 곡.
펑펑 울고 싶을 때
이 곡을 들으면서
위로를 받기를 바라며!
6. Cute Baby
앞의 곡들과는 확연히 다른 분위기의 밝은 곡이다
사실 이 곡은 다른 앨범에
좀 더 밝은 분위기의 곡들과 함께 발매하고 싶었다
이번 앨범을 준비하면서
내 능력으로는 알 수 없는
여러 문제들이 자꾸 나타났고
그래서 기존에 발표하려고 했던 곡들은
아무 문제 없는 이 곡으로 대체되었다
분위기는 확연히 다르지만
그래도 귀여운 아기의 모습을 생각하면서
밝은 분위기로 만든 곡이어서
풀리지 않는 문제를 해결할 때
행복함을 안겨주는 그런 곡이 되었다
기쁨을 주는 Cute Baby
그대에게도 기쁨이 되었으면 좋겠다.

I had no choice but to let go of my hands several times

I wanted to express it with the tone of the piano.

2. Happiness
This album was mostly worked from fall to winter.
When I wrote the song, there was a lot of vague sadness in it.
So I was filled with the desire to change the atmosphere.
Playing around with my hands in the high range of the piano.
A melody comes to mind
This is the song that I developed next.
Feel the freshness and brightness with this song!
3.Dust
Right in front of my work space
It's a bright window
When light pours in,
While working on a song
Dust you can see if you look closely
When I wrote this song
It was the season going from fall to winter.
I feel like the loneliness of the season is piling up.
I made a title with Dust
Do you feel lonely?
4.Shooting Star
The title I made in the beginning was Unknown Place.
I wanted to capture the feeling of exploring an unknown world.
The child who listened to this song
He gave me a great title: Shooting Star.
everyone who listens
It was interesting that it was interpreted differently.
I like the feeling of the child much more
changed the title
As a result, the song was completed with a more mysterious feeling.
5. Secret Wish
A song that I wanted to express a faint sadness.
When you want to cry loudly
While listening to this song
I hope you find comfort!
6. Cute Baby
It is a bright song with a completely different atmosphere from the previous songs.
Actually, this song is on another album.
I wanted to release it with songs with a brighter atmosphere.
While preparing this album
beyond my ability to know
Many problems kept appearing
So the songs I was planning to release were
It was replaced with this song without any problems
The atmosphere is noticeably different
Still thinking about the cute baby
It’s a song made with a bright atmosphere.
When solving an insoluble problem
It became a song that made me happy.
