That UPS 747 takeoff was incredible

I'm very proud of those pilots, they have lot of responsibility for all passengers tanking off in very bad weather.

I live and work at DTW for Delta as an aircraft deicer, so I was watching how all the other hubs and cities were handling this. So I know very well that while it was still light outside at MSP, the wind-chill was like -25 to -30. YOU sir, are a LEGEND! **Subbed**

I’m going to be completely honest… this was the snowstorm prior to the aggressive -30 windchill one. This one was much warmer. Your kind words are greatly appreciated regardless! 🙏🏻

Those deicing crews are not messing around!

I could plane spot all day at a place like MSP especially in the winter! I give so much credit to the pilots, FO’s and flight crew for the magic they pull landing and taking off in weather like this day after day! Especially the smaller commuter turbo props! Amazing videos love the channel! I’m also a snow bird from Buffalo NY we get some crazy snow as well!

You're a beast for going out in the weather to capture this🥶 I did a quick preview and then set this to the top of my queue for tomorrow morning's elliptical. This should keep me feeling cooled off 🙂!!

your Dad sent me here - I remember in 1988 going to see a plane in the hanger at MSP only it was the middle of the night after a class reunion. We'll just leave it at that. Have a fun trip to Vegas!

Excellent captures in blizzard conditions!!! Inspired to use my flight benefits to visit MSP just to watch all those Sun Country beauties and the ultimate heavy...UPS 747✈. Indoors of course.

This is pilots really earning their pay. All their skills and thousands of hours flight experience pays off big time

Well done! It's been rough here and now the cold winds are blowing. I'm flying out on Xmas Day. This is great footage. Most people wouldn't leave the house let alone head to the airport to catch jets in action. Always classy, quality stuff on your channel. Thanks for another great video.

Kudos to the ground crews. MSP rarely closes, and when it does it's only for the conga lines to make a pass. I'd rather fly out of MSP when there's a snowstorm than anywhere else.

Very much so, just get a UV or blank filter for the lens to keep snow out of it. The gimbal system within is exposed to the elements.

@epic.gamer7 After hours of filming in conditions like that, yeah, they’re a bit frosty. I will say that the elevated humidity helps vs the dryer air. That and handwarmers!

Great Question! If the airline deices their own planes, then no. If an outside company does it, then yes.
