Same. I read cats purring has been shown to actually facilitate the healing of damaged tissue, ligaments and bone; the purring fluctuates between 25hz to 150hz and has even been shown to heal heart damage. They truly are a precious life form; I find myself left in awe and gratitude sometimes at how perfect they are.

If our purpose in life was predicated on our enjoyment of it, my career path would be professional agitator.

I used to bury my face in my cats fur near his heart and back and this is what his purr sounded like from within him. Thank u. 💝💕

Two days before christmas my cat got an injury to the face in a catfight. The wound got infected and i could tell he was in great pain. I was sitting up all night with him, waiting for morning so i could take him to the vet. It was impossible for him to sleep so the only thing he could do was to lie still and endure the pain. So i put this video on for him. He had his eyes fixed on Boo in the video and when the video stopped, it was like he slipped back in to the darkness and the pain, so i put it back on, and once again his eyes was fixated to the screen. It was as if Boo was the only thing in his life that was not filled with pain. So i played it over and over till morning came. Boo helped my cat through a night of pain, and now he has made a complete recovery, and is back to his old self. It's hard to describe with words just how much this video helped my cat that night, but i am very greatfull you uploaded it to youtube. So from me and my cat, thank you Boo and ClaireCats

Purring combined with background noise and or music will make just about anyone fall asleep within minutes. Purring and rainfall always makes me go to sleep in a hurry

My cat recently passed from lymphoma. He was the best thing since sliced bread because he was gentle with his claws and purred every time you touched him. Sometimes even before. He was a brown and white tabby and looked pretty much like the cat in this video. except his nose was completely pink and he had an white ovular patch on his back. He would always stare at you and put both his front paws on furniture begging to be petted. This reminds me of him. Thank you!

My14 year old cat loves to watch the full hour before nap time. Thank you for posting the video! He is getting over the loss of his life-long companion cat and it seems to really relax him.
