1 Hour of Planespotting at Skiathos! 16 Low Landings and 13 Takeoffs JETBLAST with ATC Comms!

It's part of the feedback of my planespotting trip at Skiathos last year! After 4 days of unlimited planespotting over there, you can enjoy various aircrafts and airlines coming in low for a landing over spotters' heads! It's really an entire hour that brings you closer to a huge number of aircrafts, from the Olympic Dashes to the Thomson 757, the biggest aircraft operating now at Skiathos! Many takeoffs and landings together with ATC communications are included. Enjoy!

We went to Skiathos in 1997 from Manchester and had to stop at Athens to refuel as it was only a small jet, nice island though and the hotel we stayed in was great as well.

Πάντως έχει γίνει προσγείωση αεροσκάφους Boeing 767-200ER της Air Italy στο αεροδρόμιο της Σκιάθου. Το διάβασα τυχαία στη Βικιπαίδεια

+TheGreekPilot Αυτό είναι σωστό, ήταν έκτακτο αλλά αντιμετώπισε πρόβλημα στους ελιγμούς. Οι τροχοδρομοι ήταν κάπως μικροί και στενοί για το μέγεθός του. Τώρα βέβαια έχουν φτιάξει μια αξιόλογη πίστα δίπλα από την παλιά που ίσως κάποια στιγμή κάνει και για μεγαλύτερα αεροπλάνα.

Great video! I would be very concerned with the length of that grass though, major hazard with birds nesting in that!

Decent footage, but it started getting really annoying that they'd break away from the aircraft during spoolup EVERY time to show people.... I mean, we get it, jetblast blows at people. SHOW THE PLANES!!
