that's a 777? i thought it was a 767

fantastic Aegean BAe 146 takeoff banking slight left about 5 seconds after the wheels leave the ground. just stunning!!

How on Earth did they manage to land and takeoff with an 777 at corfu 😱😱😱

Probably performance limited. Given it’s a short flight it wouldn’t use much fuel anyway, but not sure if they’d have to limit passenger load. You’d be surprised at the size of planes you can get into short runways.

A330s can land at Corfu too Besides B772s the runway is capable of handling them

..I flew with the Boeing 757-200 (2K2) of Transavia from Maastricht-Aachen Airport (MAA) to the other big island of Greece, Crete, to Nikos Kazantzikas International Airport of Heraklion (HER).. Great memories coming up of the flight, crew and pilots of the old Transavia..!! Great memories of a great vacation..!!

Am I seeing things, or is there a fighter jet sitting on that shore side pad halfway down the runway? Keep thinking it's an F-4 Phantom, but I can't get a clear picture!

Yea they also made the 777X in the 80s and the 747 was made in 1984
