I never pay attention on Jokic but that's perfect they made Joel Embiid MVP 2023. Denver Nuggets won the title. Jokic is perfect and no wonder he got MVP and Win with the Denver. Watch the video and you will fcking forget MJ or LeBron being the GOAT.

jokic is tearing up NBA defenses. he will continue to destroy them until teams learn how to defend cutters properly. so many plays where the entire team is ball watching jokic.

Best in the NBA and it's not even close.

Has extraordinary court awareness. Extraordinary passing skills. Strong enough to throw the basketball like a tennis ball. Can shoot from the post and from the three-point range. Very good at rebounding. Seven feet tall. That is quite a combination.

When you can make an hour long mixtape of just dope passes from a guy who probably played about half of his carreer... you just know he is hella good

Love the way he passes the ball. He is a Hall of Famer in waiting. He is not even 30 yet.

Not an explosive dunker and dribbler.. Just a genius tactical play maker and brought the team to the top with his teamates. That's why he deserved MVP..

The world had overlooked this plus-size Magic Johnson for years until this year's playoff.

Notice how often after Jokic makes an insane play, the other coach whistles "time out"

Best passer in history! There was so many SICK passes his teammates didn't convert.

He's especially dangerous with the ball in his hands because every teammate on the court instantly becomes more dangerous. Can't take your attention away from anyone with him in the game.

I love how Jokić in the playoffs whenever he hit a crazy shot he didn’t react but whenever he makes a pas and his teammate gets a great finish that’s when he yells and screams in joy.

they compare him to Shak O Neil, Shak was only force x acceleration = pushing and basket...NOBODY BUT ABSOLUTELY NOBODY in the NBA so far has been so good in the set of all elements...some count the athletic look..he is not a model, some jump...so he passes and Gordon jumps....ha ha...

It's nuts. If you watch Bird or Magic passing highlights they are good, and you see maybe 20 passes that basically Jokic has filling a one hour video with!

I love how 90% of these highlights are insanity erupting around him as the world reacts to another of his beautiful dimes, and he's quietly plodding his behind back down the court with his goofy run. Man's a legend! 🤣

Basketball is simple game when plays Nikola Jokić.

It's almost like Jokic has a mental connection with so many guys.. Faried, Chandler, lyles, Gary harris, millsap, Monte Morris, Jamal, Gordon, Porter, Bruce brown, Braun, etc. If you are a player with athleticism but cannot shoot all that well like reddish, thybulle, etc. You should rush to play with this man.

His touch is key. Whether it's a pass, layup, jump shot. His accuracy is just insane! Those long range high precision passes just proves how out of this world his hands are. Combined with very high basketball IQ and this is what you get. Greatness!

2:37 this is earlier on in jokic's career when he was still not really that proven. you can see wilson chandler pointing at jameer nelson to indicate for jokic to pass the ball. if jokic always just did that, he would have never been able to unlock this entirely team changing dynamic for the nuggets. just another sign of how important self-belief is for unlocking greatness.

you can also make the argument this is when kenneth faried was also pretty early on his career. goes to show that the same issues of seniority run conflict even in professional basketball. that's why a good balance of youth and veterans is necessary

The difference between Jokic's and LeBrons (playmaking bigs) playmaking is Jokic is really out there trying to set up his teammates. While all LeBron is doing is when once the defense starts focusing on him, he basically fake drives to the rim and hit the open guy (more of a opportunistic type than unselfish). This is why everybody around Jokic is playing the type of game they actually play while LeBrons teammates visibly looks uncomfortable most of the time not knowing what to do at times.

The difference is that Jokic makes himself the last option and scores only if nobody else can score. Whereas other stars are the first option and only pass if they can’t score first. This is one of the things that makes Jokic unique.
