maybe wierd to say, but i think Blake Griffin is criminally underrated. He was able to improve his game, changed his game, etc...Amazing player, amazing person, amazing sportsman! Clippers Blake Griffin was a disrespectful player & one of the best dunker ever. He was so crazy at his position. so fun even to watch him. Injuries made him slow down. I miss him playing at his prime. He even realized very early on in his career than his style of play would be unsustainable and put in work to transform his game. But still, he succumbed to injuries. I still remember how some people were saying he could rival Tim Duncan as the best PF of all time as early as his rookie season

Totally agree, really didn’t have much game at all other than Athleticism his first 2-3 seasons, and by his peak, was handling the ball, passing and shooting from deep, one of the best I’ve seen at completely reinventing their games, got mad respect for that

Super athletic with incredibly soft hands. Can dribble, make plays, and finish at the rim. One of the most fun to watch. Happy retirement, Blake!

loving the Blake Griffin appreciation today, if he really does call a retirement man what an era of basketball he was playing in, i know the Lob City Clippers era was marked by disappointment and failure but legit no doubt in my mind he made those clipper teams relevant and if he didn't get those injuries later in his prime he would've been a top 5, 10 MVP candidate but sadly those injuries were his achilles heel
