I feel so bad for all pageant kids, but especially for Alaska and Braxton. Alaska seems like a genuinely sweet kid, and Braxton seems like he’s trying so hard to get his mother’s approval that he starts competing against his sister. I really hope they grow up to be great people despite the lack of parental love and support.

The fact that in that challenge video the girl who ended up winning is the one that suggested from the get go to explain their situations because she knew she had a sob story ready to go. Nina was right in doing challenges and not explaining personal situations because people would feel like their issues weren’t as bad as others. I just dislike how she suggested they do personal situations and then ended up giving a performance with it.

I felt so bad for the girl in 19:33, she was just nervous and Ariana literally TURNED AROUND. She made a video doing it again and it sounded really good, I think she was just nervous when she was singing in the show.
The one video of the girl reading off the teleprompter at 4:14, I don't think many people know that she said during that season that she has really bad dyslexia if I am remembering correctly, so that's why she was so nervous and didn't want to read in front of everyone. Felt bad for her honestly.

I don't think they should have criticized Nina for being assertive. In group situations like that, someone has to step up otherwise literally nothing will get done. And Nina didn't force any one into decisions, she just got the group moving. Nina was also trying to be respectful and to protect people's feelings, like she said, she didn't want others to feel like their issues were invalid. She did talk over people a bit, but... The girl who she spoke over knew that she had a good chance of winning with an emotional appeal (not trying to minimize her struggles, but that is what she was trying to do) so her suggestion was out of self-interest (which is fair, because it was technically a competition and she did really need the money, I would have done the same in her situation) whereas Nina's suggestion was something that would spare the feelings of the group.

11:09 she says " go see go see " LOL
The way that Heather played that annoys me because i didnt notice it at first. She insisted on explaining their situations, she knew what she was doing. Even at the end when they give it to her she says “now i feel really bad 🥺” with almost no expression on her face. I kinda feel bad for the girl that voted herself off because her situation wasnt as bad. That sucks, she had a valid reason, she was gonna use it for collage. The guy who was going to start a clothing business (the one who got voted of first) looked really upset and i feel really bad. Heather got the money mostly because she cried. I wish they would’ve gone with Nina’s idea with doing challenges instead of starting with their situations. It creates a really toxic environment.
