This is the gift that I was telling you about for the past weeks, I really really hope you like it.^^ I know it's kind of sneaky, I did all these new songs in complete secrecy. xD It took 7 months and I can honestly say with this album that I did my absolute 100% best with each and every song here, I wanted to really produce something that does justice to all of you, the best music I can possibly give you. I told you that it's really not possible for me to say "thank you" in an appropriately meaningful way, so I decided to say it in music instead, I hope you can feel my deep appreciation for all of you, because it's all in these songs.
Thank you again so much for being here, and for being a huge and beautiful part of my life!
A few details about the album that might be fun to know:
- The guitar solo in the middle of "Adventure Awaits" is from my old song "Part of the Pack", so it's basically our channel's anthem. =)
- I speak Inra in the song "Dreampath".
- The song "The Endless Woods" is actually one of my oldest songs EVER, I composed it in 2008 when I was 18.
- The wolves howling in "The Pack" are the same ones you can hear in "Wolf Blood".
- The bonus song at the end is the first time I ever sung for a piece of music, and because I knew that my singing skills are really crap I made a drunk campfire song, where a bad singing voice is much more appropriate. xD The language I sing in is a new language I'm working on.
- "Alassin" means "revelry/festivity" in my new language.
- And finally: the whole album is set up as a real journey, which is probably apparent from the song titles and their order.
Track list:
0:00 - Adventure Awaits
5:03 - The Gate to Avalon
9:33 - Call of the Wild
13:31 - Wild Lands
17:00 - Alassin!
20:06 - Farûna's Lament
22:50 - The Endless Woods
26:30 - Sylvani
30:54 - In Vino Veritas
34:35 - Wayfarer
37:41 - Primal Bonds
40:58 - Elfenreigen
46:09 - Forest Folk
49:00 - Dreampath

Beautiful album, friend! I've been having a rough time lately and didn't know that I needed this. Your voice is beautiful and don't let anyone tell you otherwise! If you feel the need to train your voice to convey certain emotions, go for it! But don't do it for anyone but yourself! Everyone can (and should) sing. Don't feel shame or embarrassment, music is so commercialized nowadays that it's easy to say, "I'll probably never make money with my singing, so there's no point." There absolutely is a point! Joy isn't zero sum; joy is meant to be shared, and I'm honored that you were willing to share your joy with so many people.

Oh thank you very much!^^ I'm glad you liked it, I'm severely untrained though, I never used my voice in this way. If I record more vocals I will definitely first train my singing much more to make for a nicer listening experience.^^

@@AdrianvonZiegler I would advice against the "training first". It's nice and I love it. The "normal talented man" singing is what I missed and didn't know it until now. Frankly I would love to hear vocal mix in the style of the last song - it has better feel than anything I heard. I don't think every man who rised his voice in a song was necessarily the Bard of the Year. That said I think you would have chance for that title as you are ;)

Today I wanted to write a story I haven't continued in a bit, and needed to feel the ambience to know what to write. I've heard your music since 2015, around a time of the last transferring I had and a time of unprecedented challenges in my life. Your music and the variety you offer is something that touches the hearts in all possible ways; I cannot just not follow the ongoing of the pieces from start to end, and then keep being in the place and sensation they give. Your music is the representation of why I love music in general; it can tell something simple or it can show a whole world. For having been around for sometime and always thinking from time to time "I wonder what Adrian has done recently", I felt like showing you my gratitude for what you give to the world. It really is just a matter of having a device, a connection, and your music is there. It might sound silly without the context, of course, but it's just that your music feels so alive, somehow. Not only do I feel as if I was somewhere else but I also feel in an understanding company. Each time I want to reminisce the past before my transferring, I look up your pieces because they match with that feeling. And I don't feel like I'm there; I feel like a new entirely different experience is looking for me. They make me look forward, or make me feel my present emotions. So for all this and more -for all these past years and the ones yet to come- I immensely thank you for your work.

On the topic of dark feelings and thoughts - I've been there, and still sometimes am. But it doesn't bother me nearly as much anymore, and only because I allow those things I used to run away from, and they disappear, sometimes within seconds, what would've taken days and weeks of fighting against myself. What we resist only grows in intensity. We believe as humans that we must resist the 'bad' things to find the good. But in reality, it is in allowing all things that we find peace. Peace allows all things. That is why it is peace - it can never resist, and is thus defending against nothing, and is free. There is a book by David Hawkins called 'Letting Go', that is worth checking out if you ever find yourself in a place like that again. There is a free .pdf online. When something comes up that you feel is too much, know that it is in your fighting against it that fuels it. Instead, put your attention on the emotion as it appears in your body - tightning of muscles, contracted chest, queasy feeling in your stomach - whatever it may be, and just leave it be as it is. Just look at that sensation in your body with your attention and let it be. Leave the thoughts aside as they are. Just be with it, that's all our emotions are asking. If our emotions could talk, they would say, "please be with me as I am, so I may be free." Imagine the emotions saying this to you. They want freedom just as you do. In giving them freedom, you give yourself freedom. We spend so much time running and resisting. But in allowing, we find that we can be at peace no matter where we are. Just practice this, if ever you feel you the need to. Take care and bless you:)

@@zain4019 First of all thank you for your concern. And second i don't think what you were saying applies to me, my troubles comes from being unable to be free, and it's not because i resist those feelings, i'm very well aware of them. They exist because i was born and live in a place that follows traditions that would not allow me to be free and i don't belong to such place. And i can only feel free in my mind and imagination while listening to music like this or playing video games for example, but unfortunately that doesn't last for long and i get back to my reality and feel trapped again, and that's when the dark feelings and thoughts comes back again. I truly hope no one feels that way because it's very painful.... Anyway, you too take care and I wish you well.

I’ve been a fan of many songs by Adrian Von Ziegler and a person of deep feeling. I enjoyed all the many songs prior, but as I’m listening to this video only around 30 or so minutes in (and definitely listening to the end) I can confidently say this: I feel a great love, deep feelings, heartfelt feelings, so, so much! All that has been embedded into this music is beautiful! The mentioned gratitude and so much more is definitely being conveyed! I feel it!! As I listen, my eyes tear up (in a good way) and I smile. This music is beautiful powerful in the best sense. Although I’m not entirely sure if this comment will reach the musicians/artists, if it does, I want this to be conveyed along with the rest of this comment: you’re doing an amazing job! I can’t find the words to fully convey all of the beauty, depth, and profound layers both physical and energetic that are carried throughout this music! In the beginning of the video you mentioned wanting to share your gratitude, now I want to share mine too. Thank you! Truly, thank you!!! It’s not too often I find music with this level of depth and feeling carried throughout it. The connection between all the instruments, sounds of nature, the vocals, and the energetic components arrange in a manner so pure yet deep. They seem to carry across not only various terrain, and weathers, but also through different layers of heart. It’s all truly astounding. Once again, thank you! Truly, thank you! May you find true joy throughout your life and being. Thank you! 😌✨☘️🍀🌈 🐺🌱🌿🌳🍃🐉✨💫🌕🌎🌞
