It's currently 3:25 rn and I can't sleep is this normal for an 11 yr old to not be able to sleep and being awake really late , but tmrw is the first day of school so I'm watching this to try and sleep. I also have to wake up at 5:30 for school so that's awesome😭

I have problems sleeping everyday and I'm 11 but my friends fall asleep at like 9 every night so I don't think its normal but who knows

You should try and talk to your doctor about it at your next check up. You could have hormonal imbalances that could be treated with medication or they might recommend a melatonin supplement. If it’s just occasional, like before a big test or trip or first day of school, that’s completely normal. If it’s every day or if I it’s negatively impacting your life, I’d have your parents make an appointment with your doctor to see what’s up.
