1 HOUR DAVY JONES | PLAYED ON HARP

Музыка

This is the intro melody, played on a harp with some cello and bass. I wanted to make this since I kept listening to the original song over and over, and thought it might be interesting to hear it with new instruments and a bit slower tempo.
I always found Davy Jones and Tia Dalma to be the most interesting story in the movies.
Original composition by Hans Zimmer from the song Davy Jones featured in Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man´s Chest.

So surprised to see how many people enjoyed this! I made this cover because that moment when Calypso touches Davys heart and turns him into a human again, really made a mark on me. Such a beautiful love story. I am considering making some more Pirates of the Caribbean inspired music. Let me know if you would like that! :) Also subscribe to not miss it in case you do. Thanks everybody! /B

watch out bro, don't let the deception of the devil trick you. there is a savior and his name is Jesus Christ. In life there is the good and there is the bad; it is just that sometimes we are so focused on the bad only. In fact, if there was no bad, then there wouldn't be any good e.g: think about successful people. In the afterlife it's that you either go to hell if U do it wrong or you go to heaven if you do it right . Nothing materialistic is real, everyone is going to die & even the earth is not expected to stay alive forever and ever. Let's focus on what matters. I would kill to have a movie made about Davy Jones and Calypso and the heartbreak he felt. It would be so damn tragic and beautiful. Hell, I might even write a novel about it. Davy as a young man was bookish and quiet (his little awkward facial quirks and need to be imposing as an adult might suggest abuse at a young age) when at sea he is shipwrecked and he meets the sea goddess Calypso and falls in love with her. Because of his undying devotion she dreams up a plan to use him for the job of ferrying souls that die at sea. She seduces and charms him to the very end until she betrays him by not waiting after the 10 years are up. The book could deal with the mental turmoil of losing his love, losing his heart, losing his life to becoming a monster, and losing himself to his rage. What say you?

A man of love, a man of dreams. Torn in two by another's heart and dragged allong as a game for the wild. Ten full years he waited. Ten full years he served his duty. Ten full years for nothing in return... Love... A kind yet twisted word to some. A word that can break a good man or woman in pieces that change them forever. A word that was seen to wicked and cruel by Davy Jones that his love turned to anger and hatred... Tears of pain, sorrow, loneliness.. One story can show allot though one song can show an eternity of another's life and dreams. He deserved so much better.

I would pay GOLD to see a movie about Davy Jones and Calypso, but I don't want ANY of the actors being different. So..after all these years,im 25 atm. When i was a child Captain Jack sparrow was my favourite, when i was young and innocent. But now..after all the difficulties and pain ive been through..Davy Jones is my favourite, because he is close to me,i feel him. And finally i can understand that the "bad" villains aren't so villenous after all, they are just victims of life and hardship. And this is why now i love this character more, because here exists something deeper than heroes and funny scenes..here exists love, pain, and sacrifices. This is my favourite anti hero ever.

It's 2021. I feel like I lost my balance and my faith for everything. I don't know what to do with my life. Well, there isn't lots of things I can do at home. But you know. I started to feel anxiety, depression, fear and all the other things. I lost my grandpa because of the virus and canser in 2020. Like eveyone it was my worst year. But nothing chanced so far. I mean I feel lost. So that is the reason I'm listening this song. Potc always makes me feel better. This serie has another effect for me that nothing else gives. Whenever I feel lost and anxious, I watch Potc. Every time it cheers me up and make me forget all the bad things happening in my life. They never actually gone but it feels good when you are dreaming that you are in the Black Pearl or Dutchman. Yeah that pretty much it. Not all but a little part of the feelings I have at the moment. Btw, I'd be very happy if you read this comment and answer to me to come and read it after a while. Stay safe guys and Take what you can, give nothing back.

Come my love be one with the sea Rule with me for eternity Drown all dreams so mercilessly And leave their souls to me. Play the song you sang long ago And wherever the storm may blow You will find the key to my heart We’ll never be apart. Wild and strong you can’t be contained Never bound nor ever chained Wounds you caused will never mend and you will never end. Cruel and cold like winds in the sea Will you ever return to me Hear my voice sing with the tide Our love will never die.” Lyrics

Betrayal and loss is the worst pain ever! Who agrees? Never ever betray those who love you and have your back! If they hurt you, let it go! Hatred will consume you if you feed it negativity. Conquer that bad, with good! I have been betrayed by a woman who I thought I loved so much! I did everything for her! I cared for her, I cherished her, I adored her, I protected her, I loved her so much! Then she hurt me so deep! To this day, I love and miss her so!

The afterlife doesn't have to be cruel, Jesus saves, all you have to do is believe that He will. He payed the price for our sins, so we don't have to bare the punishment. No one has to say goodbye to their loved ones forever. If they believe in Jesus, they will be in Heaven with Him. Our punishment was to be a cruel eternal afterlife, but Jesus died on the cross in our place. As the Son of God, He was worthy to pay the price for all of us in His death. But He rose from the dead, and in His new life, we can find ours. John 3:16 - For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. Romans 10:13 - For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved. John 1:12 - But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name: John 14:6 - Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me. Matthew 10:28 - And fear not them which kill the body, but are not able to kill the soul: but rather fear him which is able to destroy both soul and body in hell. John 11:25-26: 25 Jesus said unto her, I am the resurrection, and the life: he that believeth in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live: 26 And whosoever liveth and believeth in me shall never die. Believest thou this?

I won't shove it in your face if you don't want it, I just want you to know that God is real and loves you no matter what. There is proof of God, but it can't be shown to people who don't want to see it. Just looking at creation and how all life has been made should tell us that there is a creator. Looking at gene sequence is like looking at binary code for a human, that shows an intelligent being made us. I hope that one day you realize the truth that is in God. I hope you have a good day. 1 Corinthians 2:5 - That your faith should not stand in the wisdom of men, but in the power of God. Ephesians 2:8 - For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: James 1:5-8 - If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him.

Wind whipping the black sails of the dutchman, the night sky gaping above, the stars glinting like faint glimmers of hope, reflected, nay, distorted in the dark, furious expanse of the ocean below. Jones sits alone, mindlessly playing the melody, the same melody he plays every night; sometimes he forgets why, sometimes he forgets the heart that beats in that chest, and the melody that pours from it into the knotted webs and labyrinths of his tired mind. The melody is all that's left, the memories of Calypso. Love turned into dire hatred, yet what is hatred, but love turned sour by time or pain? 10 years aboard the Dutchman, 10 years biding his time, yet when they could be together again, she wasn't there. Now the Jones she knew, is not there anymore, and never will be again.

I listened to this melody for months on end while I was in college and working full-time...(Dropped out when I was younger but went back because I felt like I could finish my degree). I didn't realize at the time how sad this tune really is. I just thought it was peaceful. Looking back, I was in a bad place in my life. I was so overwhelmed with school and work along with the other reasonabilities that may come with adult-life. My spiritual life was slowly falling by the wayside.... but I ended up making it through it. God helped me so much during this time even though I was not giving Him his due honor and praise via time in my life. I look back at my life as I hear this melody and think "Wow, my heart was shattered in-two because I was so unhappy with that current status in life". Thank you, Lord, for watching over me and giving me the strength to overcome obstacles in my life! Thank you for this melody also @Havsorm. It's lowly and heart wrenching tune comforted me when nothing else could at that time in my life.

Some of us lived a life just like their. I had a girlfriend who I loved so much at a very young age. We were so loved in each other, pure young love without the burden of life... a face of an angel, green eyes like the most beautiful emerald, blonde hair, charisma which has no match in the world.. and one day... it was over, she found someone else because I wasn't brave enough... I was damn too shy being with the most amazing person I ever met... after a while, we haven't seen each other for some time, 8,9 years maybe.. we met accidentally by pure coincidence on a street.. after all those years.. years which were chances to get her back... nonetheless, we hug each other so strong... today she has a family and I'm still single... I understood that destiny doesn't separate people, people are separating by themselves... somewhere along the road, from a long time ago I put my heart into a chest and locked up... heartless wretch, completely alone among thousands of people... some stories are not just in the movies.... if someone went through this suffering, don't despair because it has ended, be happy because it has happened... after all, life goes on.... because it's the most beautiful and precious gift given to every living being... forgive more, help secretly to somebody, love your loved ones, be more courageous for good things than me.. life doesn't have replay... live it smart and live it good... I had my Calypso... and I'm feeling damn honored for that..

That scene in At World's End just before he leaves Calypso for the last time is one of my low-key favorite scenes in all the films. Despite all the pain they've caused each other, despite the big rift between them, Jones saying in his human voice "My heart will always belong to you" before he leaves will always break my heart.

When I was in elementary school, I was prohibited from watching this film for fear of sexual appearance. Until today in 2020 I have started college .. I started watching all films from the start to Dead man tell no tales. This is all thanks to KZread who recommended this video to me ... I can't believe this masterpiece existed in the 2006 & 2007 era
