I love the narrator's voice! It's a warm and easy, with such a pleasant youthful tone to it. It's casual and familiar sounding, like a friend taking you on these excursions. Especially funny when the goofiest scenes are being described in a perfectly simple and straightforward manner, almost flat which makes the crazy captured settings that much more amazing. Great job! Davide Furiosso just because you saw that video after Kobe died, doesn’t mean it wasn’t around before he died “NOT LATE”
@44R0Ndin
3 жыл бұрын
I read the NTSB accident report on Kobe's helicopter crash, and this parachute wouldn't have helped that helicopter. That's because the pilot likely didn't see anything wrong until it was too late to do anything about it. According to the report, the pilot flew into the side of a mountain shrouded in clouds, under "full" control. I use quote marks because the pilot did not have the proper training to fly on instruments alone, which is required when flying thru clouds (IMC). It's a classic case of a Visual Flight Rules only pilot flying into Instrument Meteorological Conditions (VFR-IMC), leading directly to a Controlled Flight Into Terrain accident. This was entirely pilot error. This is why if you are a pilot, and you can afford it, you should pursue getting at least a single engine instrument rating or whatever similar rating you need for helicopters. As well as flying an aircraft with instruments good enough to fly thru mild weather and clouds (having GPS available helps only so much as someone understands how to use it). This is also why pilots need to know their minimum safe terrain avoidance altitudes for where they're flying, even if they don't have an instrument rating. You can still get "caught on top" where the only way to get to a landing is to fly down thru the clouds. Knowing the lowest altitude you can fly at and still have several hundred feet of air between you and the ground is never a bad thing to keep in the back of your head.
I really love the dudes sliding water guns to strangers, I just find it awesome that they’re probably cheering up a person who might be having a bad day.

That glue is great stuff, when it's possible to use it the patient is left with less of a scar than if they used stitches. I cut my finger right on the pad with a utility knife when I was helping my parents put an asphalt shingle roof on our house, but a year or two later all you could see was a faint white line on my skin (that was like 10+ years ago now, and that scar is totally gone). Recently cut my fingers again (july 4th last year, well before this whole covid-19 thing started) when cutting the tubing for my PC water cooling system, went to the emergency room and they put some sort of foam stuff in the wound (skinned my knuckle with the knife, so I lost a tiny chunk of skin, they put the foam where the skin would be.) Six months later and the only giveaway that I did anything is that there's this little patch of smoother-than-normal (not as many wrinkles) skin on my knuckle. Modern medical science is great stuff.
