I am someone who is monster kill enjoyer and I was doing many tests. I don't think many of people knows, but debuffs on attack and defense are limited to 50%. I can tell you how to make setup for solo hunting using subs. Like Aka said Sanada and Cortes are great for beginners, but after you don't need them for solo hunting, just put 4 pieces of dragon set on 5 sub generals and you will reach limit of 50% debuffs. For rallies same story, 5 players with dragon sets are enough too, so you can use 5 baibars for better double drops.

thats interesting. For rallies Ive made the experience that wether 1 with debuff or multiple ones joining bigger monster rallies, dont make any difference in my wounded. so i thought they dont stack up

@@SolidSnake1 True, in rallies debuffs don't stack from generals, game is counting them like they are all coming from one city, which is technically true. So same generals in same rally don't work, but from other places like subs they work. I am not so sure about dragon sets though, someone should try that in rallies.

That's actually inaccurate (At least for subs) As I've tested it on a B15 using 4 Sanadas w 4 Dragon 2 General gear and hunter specialty and I take wounded. That setup gives me over 50% debuff on both monster attack and monster defense. When I send my 8 Subs with all Sanadas and same gear I take 0 wounded on same boss

@@angelpesquera4052 That could be only the reason that defense debuff is not limited to 50%, attack debuff is 100% limited to 50% because I was using generals set debuff and few Cortes and I always had same amount of wounded even when I go above 50%. If you have 0 wounded that means you oneshoted that boss and he had no retaliation.

@@angelpesquera4052 Defense debuff is hard to test because on monsters because you need to know where is your limit with attack. If you have for example 100 attack and monster have 100 hp you will oneshot it, but defense on monster will reduce your attack and monster will survive and retaliate. So you managed to reduce defense on that monster enough to have killing blow. My bad was because I was sure about attack debuff and thought it works same for defense, so that is even better. In my logic you can then debuff monster to have 0% defense which is not that weird, it's not pvp.

I'll use Aethel with Sanada sometimes. I have her fully spec'd which includes monster debuff, and I have Sanada's special up to 9%. I'll eventually max it out when I have extra runestones to burn. Honestly though, for tougher monsters, I'll combo Aether and Theodora. Also, when you finally unlock the military academy, you get extra buffs for mounted troops against monsters, and the mounted blazons also help a lot.

Lots of great ideas, and in the comments too. I was hoping Evony would release a new monster hunting general or two, but then I remembered--they would make you coin away your next three rent or mortgage payments to get them. :( I have an extra Sanada so I might outfit him to join rallies instead of Cleopatra. (She could join as an assistant for the double drops.)

Did u put sanada as the assistant or main for monster???, cause I'm confused if u put him as assistant n u still put gear n cultivate his tribute, many people said that won't affect

I have Sanada Yukimura and use it as an assistent. Should I use him as main general or it works that way?

sadly, but i can also confirn, that the debuff has a cap. I also tested it with 20 alliance mate joining rallay against b19. Only one needs Dragon gear

@@RedEvony the quick test i did was switching the monarch crown (justice horn vs courage horn) with everything else staying the same. When march speed to monster was active the time would be smaller if target is a monster (solo or leading a monster rally). When i joined rallies and march speed was active the time to join the rally was lower. For my rally joining team....i put on both the march speed and march speed to monster, But i have the Bow for march speed. I think of march speed vs monster march speed similar to gathering speed. all the buffs need to be active before the march is out of your city.

Hi Red Evony. I have a quick question regarding attacking someone at their subordinate. My question is I want to avoid them having reinforcements at their keep. If I attack them through their subs, do their reinforcements from their teammates also come to help their subordinate?? Or is it just that player that I am attacking who can come and reinforce the sub or fight for the sub?.

If the keep you are attacking has reinforcements, and the sub cities are linked to the main keep, then YES, the reinforcements will fight even if you are attacking through a sub city 👌

But what about using Sanada as AG? I don’t have gear on him but specialties are maxed and lvl37 and he’s at 1.1m in power. Sanada has monsters books (mounted troop against monsters HP, defense, attack. He’s AG to Martinus who is maxed speciality and has 3 civil gears but books are for mounted PvP and at 7m in power. I have tested Aethfled with Martinus (she is also maxed speciality) vs Sanada with Martinus and I have slightly more wounded (very slightly) with Sanada Martinus combo. I use Aethfled as a main gen and pair her with another mounted gen. When I rally, I do multiple big monster rally’s, so I could be killing B12/B13/B14/B15 all at the same time (we rally a lot 😂). But…should pull Sanada away and make him a main Gen? And put the gear you mentioned? Would I still be able to hit those big bosses with just him as a main?

I would recommend keeping Sanada as an AG. For various reason, I wouldn’t recommend using Sanada as a main general

Aka last time I was testing this out several months ago it would take the highest debuff in the rally and use that. everyone else it didn't matter. not sure if in an update they fixed this so it stacks now because it didn't use to. I know it stacks in sub cities if you run solo. I'll have to test it out again to see if it will stack now in rallies

I know a lot of people have commented with mixed results. It works for some people, and doesn’t for some 😅🤷‍♂️ I personally do this and it works for me. Helps to lower my wounded. Might need to do more testing 🤔

Technically speaking, yes. The gear you can get will depend on the level of your Forge, and your Forge’s level will depend on your keep level 👌

I've been doing this for a long time now. I use my baby account as my debuff when I'm rallying monsters, and I have run tests when there's few people in Alliance. This is my observation: 1. think it stacks and yes there's limitations 2. Sanada is better than Cortez only if there's no 4 piece dragon gear. If both are wearing, I get lower wounded with Cortez. 3. It works better when you send 1 archer instead of cavalry or ground I just recently transferred to a new alliance, old got disbanded. My former alliance always sent Sanada or Cortez to my rallies so I got lower wounded. Now the new alliance members just send 1 infantry 😂😢

@@RedEvony I don't know if that's consequential but whenever I accidentally sent 1 cav from my baby account, my rallying troops got more wounded than whenever I send Sanada with an archer. My theory is because that 1 cav dies maybe the general's debuff won't work? Similar to how sub city generals work. But maybe I'm just overthinking evony inconsistencies 🤣

Now the story has changed dramatically. Sanada can be ascended and gets +10% double drop rate as a skill. The specialties do NOT use blood of ares, unlike the upper tier generals. It is not so expensive to ascend and raise his specialties

Hi, I'm Not very old player who joined Game about 7 months ago. I'm K34 with 200M power (1M T13 & 1M T12 🐴🐎) & No archers. I got my wings using 🐴🐎 marches, but now I face issue with rss. I gather a lot, like approx 400-450M a day, but still I'm short on Food. I'm always short on food & my upkeep limit is only 287M with Shajur + 32 WH with senior officer. Any tips on how to get more food ? I have not spent any money in game & not planning to 😁

Don't open any food boxes unless you need. If you run your food to 0 you won't consume any.

Baby account with most incity tiles as farms. T1 sieges with Jindeok/Constance + Shimura and send to gather food. Mostly T1 sieges so the upkeep is lower than your incity production

If your werehouse is high enghe you can save up to 300m food from upkeep,and if you use queen jindok you can gather with her 20-25m depends on the refine,i love to send my troops to gather doring work hours

@@joshgoldstien4612 yeah, Doing that. With QJ+Shimazu, I get around 30M x 5 = 150M in around 3.5-4 hours. But anything beyound 300M is problem, have to spend immediately. I'm at K35 upgrade & need 3B food 🤣

I feel that this is very helpful; especially for those in a new server. But it seems everyone and their allies are too selfish. They work like mad trying to do as much as possible all at once. Some are lucky and earn some upper class generals and put them as their main focus. All the while they are earning full loads of fragments for these Monster Mashers.

I prefer Dragon Bow and Boot on general plus two king-level gears for march speed. so that the march has high speed when it comes back. 5% less monster debuff can be compensated by more people and family members in the rally.

Right now, Aptoide is only available on Android. You could use another android device or an emulator on your pc, which is what I use 😉👌

I use a Li Jing and Sanada or a Roland and Sanada combination and use Sanada as the assistant with no gear on him 😂😂😂😂 Of course none of my alliance mates have been taking on Typhoon or Jorgumodr... I think that's how it's spelt 😂😂😂😂😂😂

95% of any alliance is probably using Baibars with Nathanael assistant. Most don’t help at all anymore. You rally, eat the Wounded, and get less double drops. They save their stamina, get tons of double drops, have no wounded, AND beg for more stamina yet don’t help heal your troops with resources or speeds.

Yeah, some people have expressed the same thing. I personally see a reduction in my wounded when I do this. Others have commented the same as well

Dragon gear debuff does not stack in a Rally. It does stack when solo hitting with subs helping, In a rally, it only takes the debuffs from one source, and it appears that it is 60% attack and defense debuffs (Tested against a boss I took wounded on raising and lowering it by 5% by removing and adding a piece of general gear from a sub general, and counted up the monster attack debuff and it was 60%. As for the defense debuff, as was stated below, it is difficult to pin down exactly how much it applies, however, I would wager it is the same as the attack debuff, max at 60%. With that said, If you have the non-amplified rurik bracers it is already at -25% defense, add one Sanada, and 3 sub generals with dragon 4 piece, then you already hit the 60% defense, and if all 3 of those other sub generals have general 2 pieces that's another 15% attack debuff, so you'll have 45 % attack debuff from general and dragon, if the one Sanada has his 2nd specialty maxed, that gives you the 60% Again, that is just for solo hits, in a Rally you'd need to get the debuffs from different sources, since duplicate debuffs don't stack Dragon 4 - 10% monster attack and defense General 2 - 5% monster attack Rurik Axe -25% monster attack (can be higher with amplification up to 35%) Rurik Bracers - 25% monster defense (can be higher with amplification up to 35%) Aethelflaed -15% monster attack in specialty 1(Hunter), -10% Monster defense red star 2, - 10% Monster attack red star 3 Sanada - 5% monster defense basic skill, -15% monster attack specialty 1 (Hunter) Cortez -5% monster attack basic skill Theodora - 10% Monster Defense red star 2, -10% Monster attack red star 3, -15% Monster attack specialty 4 (Partner of Justinian) Caesar -10% Monster Defense red star 2, -10% Monster attack red star 3, -20% Monster Attack and Defense Specialty 4 (Gallic Wars) Nathanel Greene -10% Monster Defense red star 2, -10% Monster Attack red start 2 John Buford -15% Monster Attack Specialty 1 (Hunter), A combination of Attack up to 60% and defense up to 60% will have any additional debuffs not change the outcome. I have not been able to do adequate testing on the Ascension stars to see if those stack, or the specialties that are named the same thing (i.e. 2nd red star on both Theodor and Caesar apply a debuff that is nearly identical, does that stack?) (Hunter specialty, Aethelflaed, Sanada, and John Buford all have the same specialty, do they stack?) Let me know if I missed anything. - Thanks

I just got my first Civ equipment which was Rurik bracers. I noticed a big drop-off in wounded. Two thumbs up! (I would get a Rurik axe next but I don't have the scroll fragments for it yet.)

Hmmm, this is very interesting 🧐 Thank you for sharing 😃🙏 From my regular playing though, I think I can say to a high degree of confidence that the debuffs do stack in a rally. It’s something that my alliance has been doing for a long time. How much they stack is a different issue though. Don’t have a clear answer for that yet 😅

@@RedEvony If I have 4 sub generals with 4xdragon and 2x general, and I have the rurik bracers, My Roland/Zhao combo will zero a warlord 5, but in a rally, with 10 players joining all joining with 4x dragon and several Sanada and Cortez, and even a 8 star Aethefled and I still get wounded on the Warlord 5. Maybe there is a different debuff limit in rallies?
