MOST of their bathrooms do use them. They got away from that pivot door as well. This a-typical upper deck is one of the few not currently using a pocket door. I tend to agree with you btw

I would live in that rig....the light fixture over the island, the ceiling fan , the kitchen table chairs , the color of the interior , the bathroom, & the window in the bedroom!! It’s beautiful! The only thing is I need a giant tv..(I was near sighted but thanks to old age I’m slowly going far sighted so it’s equaling itself out so with a giant screen I don’t have to wear my glasses...the only good thing about getting older !) Thankyou Josh , I love your videos & appreciate your hard work! You definitely have my business when I buy!

Question on solar versus generator. If you're the type of camper and primarily likes to go to RV parks and have the hookups. Only times with no shore power is maybe when you're pulled off and napping or you end up having one night without an RV park to go into.. would it be best to have solar or is the generator better option?

Years ago I lived in a 32ft, believe it was a Montana. The opposing slides really open the space. This looks to be just about what I'm looking for. Nice that with slides in, it's still kinda a functional kitchen. I need to research the solar setup to see how it compares to the victron I see a lot of people using. If I wasn't on the left coast I'd come check this rig out.

So you know when you're ready -- montana has no west-coast production. EVERY Montana comes from Northern Indiana. Shipping is not standardized in the RV industry, so a western dealer may be paying around $4,000 to get the RV to their dealership where we pay nearly nothing since we're local. Even if we ship it out aftermarket shipping is usually a little less vs. factory shipping And if you choose to collect the RV yourself -- that's where you really save

Glad to see them adding inverted outlets, especially in the kitchen for my Bunn coffee maker :) Really like the split different sized sinks. The only thing I didn't like was the barn siding look behind the bed. The white cabinets look classy in the bedroom, the barn siding looks out of place. A lot of women don't care for the rugged look, they would prefer something more classy, elegant. It's one of the few that rival the Alliance 310rl for my needs. Also as a small change I would much rather have the LCI steps over the morydes. That top step being extra wide is a game changer over the step above. Still a fantastic unit that many people will love.

I don't know why everyone seems to have forgotten Keystone already did that back in like 2007. It was called the Fuzion Vizion. There's a few of them floating around out there if you run a quick google search. There was also a one-off prototype concept unit called a Down Under produced once. The end result was not a great deal of success. Common feedback generally indicated most buyers were not interested in a very heavy fifth wheel that only provided a trailer trailer's interior clearance. The belly storage is great, but was seen as impractical due to its sheer quantity. Much of it went unused. Keystone owns the patents to that kind of concept. I'm pretty sure Palomino is going to have to pay them royalties for the production. But I commend any MFG for trying to push the envelop and take the market in new directions. Like Montana's Super Solar package. It's had a slow start, but it's gotten people thinking about new and exciting things we just never saw from the factory-level before.

Can an F-150 safely pull a fully loaded Montana 295RL? I was told by the dealer Im purchasing from the Ford F-150 can handle this trailer other wise I plan on a good used 2500 pickup…what would you recommend otherwise?

There's no way I would ever personally haul any montana model with an F150 nor would I ever mention that to a customer. Every aspect of this RV is likely beyond what a half-ton should be handling I would highly recommend finding a new dealer staffed by people who know their way around towing and payload capacities. A 3/4 ton may be a good fit but still needs to have the right specs in certain areas for something the size of a 295RL. We'd love the opportunity to work with you when you're ready & are happy to provide you the proper towing advisory you deserve along the way. If we don't happen to have a location near you, then at least find someone who isn't willing to sacrifice your safety to make a sale.

  • @JoshtheRVNerd

It's a *significantly* more effective heating system. When you get rid of floor vents you lose a *lot* of heating airflow. Montana is a true cold camp tested RV so they use the heating system best equipped to accomplish that goal. I actually have a video on this very subject coming out later today at kzread.info/dash/bejne/pZWJm5iopMLZhbg.html After 4pm eastern it should be ready for viewing!

It has a fairly similar layout see here m.kzread.info/dash/bejne/X61su6qcfrC6f84.html&pp=sAQA Ironically the full Monty does have a trim package Called legacy you can apply to their layouts as seen here m.kzread.info/dash/bejne/iKR9ktaDm6fdnc4.html&pp=sAQA

The little bit of sound dampening from azdel would probably be nice though!
