The Taste Rite in Miami Gardens (the one that’s close to the Harley Davidson dealership) is the best patty spot you can go to & Finger Licking Patties in Miramar is worth giving a try as well

Grew up down the street from Sango. There was a legendary patty shop right next to it in the same plaza. Hands down the best I've had in all of Miami

Yes. Marie’s patties was the best. I have never had a crust like that anywhere else. When they closed about 5 years ago when the owners retired, we were all so upset. All asking Mr. Chin how could he do that us. 😂

Compliments to you my friend on the good job you're doing you should check out Hammond party shop in Fort Lauderdale there's one in Miami also

I always thought the "red dot" meant that it's spicy beef. I'm not used to seeing other color dots, but I'd assume that green is for veggie. The chicken patty usually have a lighter color crust.

Golden Crust bakes and ships food products to various franchises around the US. York Castle Icecream ALSO does the same. You can purchase York Castle Ice Cream in containers from many Caribbean Food markets or go into the ice cream store.

In Coral Springs Florida the frozen Gooden Crust are better than the ones in shop. Charlie’s pastry in for lauderdale is ok too…

The patty business is big business in the USA, Walmart and Publix getting in on it big time, Walmart has a large freezer dedicated to Grace beef patties,ackee patties,jerk patties,They ok,my grandson loves them a lot Even Costco got frozen Jamaican patties

I dont know about any of you but soai made me proud for picking up a phone instead of a gun and using that phone to showcase Jamaica beauty Times are a bit hard now but we push on❤❤❤❤

I think it was just me,they have a golden crust in Lawrenceville Georgia and when they first open,every body was there,you know the damn cook was straight out of Jamaica because the love was in the food and they change the damn cook and the food change,I went back years later and the food still horrible to this day,still so damn mad as helll😅😅😅😅😅

When you have a good cook,you the owner need to learn everything so you can train others,all golden crust cook need to be straight out of Jamaica Lord Jesus you as my witness,I stop somewhere in downtown Atlanta and saw the Jamaica flag and a Jamaica restaurant,I went inside happy,after 20 minutes not a single Jamaican,every body Chinese,the food was so horrible I couldn't even force myself to eat it and save my lost😅😅😅😅 Watch out for those fake chinese restaurants 😅😅😅😅😅😅

It might be owned by a Jamaican but they have Central Americans working in the front or even the kitchen. However, they will have a Jamaican chef cooking the Jamaican foods. If a Caribbean/Jamaican is not cooking the food, then the food does not have a authentic Caribbean flavor and I don'tan go there anymore.

Whenever you hit up New York make sure you visit “Jamaican Flavors” here in Queens, NY… their patty is way better than Golden Krust. I am not crazy for GK patty because the crust is too thick. Don’t get me wrong but I know and understand that everyone has their preferences but I think you will like the patty from “Jamaican Flavors”. Ask anyone about “Jamaican Flavors” on block 165 & Jamaica Avenue in Queens. It’s a hot spot and a must stop for many folks that live outside of Queens etc…

The dot usage is inconsistant. Sometimes green means veggies, then mild beef and other times chicken. Mild beef can also have no dot. Red usually is spicy beef. It is getting more confused when some places have patties with several dots of one color and other ones with one in the same color meaning different things 😂

I don't believe Sangos makes their own patties. Golden crust is just soso. If you get a chance and are in the Plantation area in Broward. (411&12) there are like 3 jamaican bakery there and a few restaurants as well. Here are a few patty shops to check out: Taste rite, butter Flakes, Hammonds, and Charlie's.

A couple of spots in the cut in Orlando has them. I don’t know how they taste because I’m a vegan ital food but a couple of spots have them here. You have to be careful with some spots in the cut in America. Some spots are commercialized and not authentic. For example escovich red snapper with no scotch bonnet pepper? What? Are you kidding me?
