That last question about how what Jesus said about the New Covenant was so exciting to hear. I would give anything to be a Bible nerd in a big room like this. Our God is so cool.

Thank you so much Tim! You have been putting the Torah in all our hearts, if we want to see and hear it! I came across you like 2 months ago, and you've been around for 8 years!? Thank God! We should all look to Tim on how he dives into the Word of God and teaches what he has learned, through his eyes and ears. If you had the spirit in you at one point in life and lost 99% of it, it's OK! I've been sharing your videos for all my close ones. I've been diving into the God's Word everyday now, as all of us should be! If you were here like 28years ago when I was going to church, I'm sure I would be in a way better place of wisdom, maybe not though... either or I appreciate the timing of our loving God. Thanks again Brother, hope all is well with everyone around you. Keep learning people! Everyday, twice on Sunday! It's so heartwarming to talk about this stuff, like why wouldn't you?! I tear up now and then with tears of JOY randomly just thinking about my life , and where I am now and where we will be one day, it's so beautifully crafted!

I think that you mentioned leaders missing the point with Ezra and Nehemiah and I can’t say that’s not correct. Still I see more to the story in how it has more to unpack. May have to check out some of those other 3 sources that you mentioned in the beginning of the video. Been following you guys for years now and super blessed by your work. But I think the main focus in these books is not the anatomy and analysis of revival gone wrong. And I love how we don’t get this picture until Zechariah. By His spirit not by our might. So here we have a people who are “trying to do things the way they remembered them being done,” all the while God is “secretly” working in the background and they don’t even know it. So much more to it but I think that’s a better picture. How Zerubbabel in the line of “David” one of Jesus ancestors plays a key role in Ezra. Still I love the things/topics you bring up and how it challenges and encourages me to dive deep in understanding the Truth. Thank you Lord for them. I think that this also gives us understanding in the ways that we should model our lives. How we need not focus on the religious aspects of life (working and consuming). But that we get to be a people who steward the creation that God has placed under our care and not have to worry about what we should eat/where we ought to go.

Not that we aren’t going to have to work and consume. But instead of being a chore. . . Like you mentioned will be second nature. Almost impulse to just wake up and set out living peaceful long lives enduring the long suffering that this world tries to impose until the return of our Lord and savior. Jesus Christ. So huge though everything you shined light on and again super grateful. Keep up the good work guys. Super excited for the them the Body/Bride/ekklesia :).

Just got some Questions: If the Church CAN'T generate revival, so what is the purpose of the church? Why did Jesus said "Go and make disciples"? Are the prophets really relying on themselves when they build a wall or a church? Are the people in the church just wasting their time and money? Why do Christians have to make a HUMAN EFFORT in reading, studying and obey the Bible, when they can just HOPE for the Lord to renew their hearts? Isn't you point "Human Effort is USELESS"? Why does a prophet need to pull other peoples hair? I just don't understand Pastor Tim, please help me understand!

Long story short. This wasn't the correct time for the reformations of the people of israel. I believe they were unsuccessful in this time because of the fact that they did not lean on God. Human effort purposed and lead by the spirit will lead to revival. Human effort alone will never do.

@@tonykirks57 Exactly, also they are trying to live by the Law which was impossible. They needed a savior and the holy spirit in them to give them a new heart (See Ezekiel 36:26)

Faith without works is dead. Jesus' words. The "works" are a result of our faith. They can't create revival. Jesus can work through us to create revival.

I appriciate what you are doing,,I get alit bit of belief from you but what I've really gotten ur videos and local Church's help, maybe Jesus' help is that inner very thin hope in God and in getting back to having a shot at actually living a life that is right with God and others...I've stuck with porn for like 6 yrs now(of the areas of my life biggest challenge being immoral, internally amiss even with people, porn and being self- rightous even with being immoral) and I wish I was as holy as I should be.I try and be pure but its not consistent I wish one day I'll just..sigh and know that Im super OK with God and that i treat people okay, and that thanks to Jesus I cracked my life

Read up on "guarding your gates"? There are multiple gates to consider. I'm in the middle of a decision myself about whether something that seems innocent enough at this juncture, though challenging on a number of levels, isn't actually a step through a door where I'll find my "gates" under continual assault. My first instinct is to guard those gates but the temptation is to think I might please God by successfully serving and witnessing there.

If you believe in Jesus and confess with your mouth ,that you want Jesus and he died for your sins, and rose again on the third day you will be saved.God cannot lie.if you believe then you want to read the word, with the Holy Ghost.we are all. Sinners and strive daily.none are without sin ,except Jesus. You have his word that you will have eternal life.

I really dislike how the speaker uses the term 'Bible nerd'. The use of that word trivializes Bible study, as if it is something 'normal' people wouldn't engage in, when in fact it is really what everyone should be doing, rather than watching Netflix. Also, the speakers use of the term 'normal' is conventional rather than correct. A norm is a pattern. The ultimate 'norm' is the Goodness of God, or (God's Will if you prefer) and to the extent we are conformed to God's Will, which is the ultimate norm, we are normal, to the extent we are not conformed to it we are abnormal. So someone who studies the Bible with a genuine desire to learn God's Will for humanity is more normal than someone who does not. I'm not judging anyone here; just pointing out that the words we use matter.
