A club that flew the Confederate Flag in its center patch.. But as I rode and learned the people that were influential to me the more I became sick within myself. My wife has 2 children from a previous marriage that are mixed and I am so proud to be called their dad !!! When the father of Michael walked out of his life it destroyed him. It took a little over 3 years but this last Father's day when he brought over a card and told me that he loved me I damn near went into shock. My wife said that was the first time that she ever heard him say that to another man. I tell people all the time that we can't change the past but what we do in the present can effect the future. Spot on, well said. I was born and raised in South Carolina and was not taught to be racist. My grandparents were sharecroppers in the 1930's and then worked in cotton Mills. That's what you say but how many black 3%rs are there? Many of the latinos think they're better than African Americans, they don't know their own history! The cancer ward is a no crying zone ( for me ) and believe it or not, unbeknownst to you, you have become a very important part of my cancer team.Thinking about your words are important to me You give something good, something interesting to think about besides those damn c cell in there gnawing on by bone marrow and stem cells. You and everyone out there , I want you to know I would rather I have gotten this than you, your family and your friends and all of my fellow bikers out there. I have packed in a lot of road miles, good times, good deeds laughs and smiles and the most amazing children and grand children . My kids are grown, my house is paid for ( don't have to work ) and most important of all, I am all warrior-ed up on this. This is my kind of fight and my humbly presented gift to mankind is my willingness to take this ugly hit and roll it up into something positive, something we can maybe learn from and benefit from . Cancer did a bunch of negative stuff .Pain, ruined my career in construction management, run off what at the time I thought was a good lady ( turns out, not so much ), Chemo sickness, having to go to the ward and look into the eyes of some very sad, very afraid people and it just hurts, you know ? Am I being a pu$$y here ? Hope not. The worst thing it did to me was my fault. I thought I would live forever so I did not pay for health insurance. Bad part is before anything like medicare or medicaid would not kick in until I had spent my life savings (fair enough. I get that. ) A lttle chump change over a million bucks gone in no time.You know what though, oh well. Not gonna crab about stuff beyond my control to change. I had to learn to live on $1600/month. Being broke sucks for sure but I am good with it. Life is way more important than spending money . I would like to be able to eat more Rib-eye steaks but heck, can't change it so why cry about it. There are a couple medical gadgets that I need but am putting aside a little every month. I just got in a very snazzy indoor bike I that I will start saying the brand name of that fine bike the very moment they start with all the free gadgets and such.At first it really sucked being broke all the time but I am alive and I don't think they have ATM machines in hell, anyway (LOL Again !) but like all people with the sense to adapt, I did so and am now really happy with all things. I have great bros that make sure that I am never out of herbal medicine and not bored. Oh , ( LOL ! ) , long preamble just getting to my point commenting of this post of yours, sorry ). My family is one of those families that you might call an American Melting Pot in the truest form of the word. We are, Caucs, African American, and Mexican-Americans all mixed in and we are and I am proud to put down here a very happy and functional family. So, you can imagine how important that these words of yours are and have very real, very hands on meaning to me. Once again, thank you. I recommend your show to all of my friends. Once again, anyone that reads this please send me your prayers, Karma, best thoughts and positive energy my way that you can spare. Lastly ( finally ) besides wishing, praying and hoping the best for me is so good and powerful and a brothers love goes out to all of you from me. AND PLEASE !!!!!!! Pray that I don't have to sell my custom Springer and help God make me mindful to all things good. God made sure that I lived thru 2 100mph+ nasty laydowns ( in the last laydown I had Mr. Jim Beam riding on back. Big-time no-no). I think so we could learn some thing about this powerful illness that has effected so many families. Sound possible to you my fine KZread friend ? No room for negativity in my heart and while praying that I get to keep my little 80 incher that my bones miraculous firm up so I can ride again. If not, I'm gonna give it to one of my 3 grandsons and will give it to the one that convinces me that he wants it most. I don;t remember installing it when I was doing my bike transformation but there must be chick magnet under the back of that gunfighter seat cuz it does draw 'em. #Ghostin in Western MD!! my job just put out a memo about if you post political/Cultural/ or social justice items on social media you can be disciplined by management up to including termination. that's exactly what the company said to all employees. recently we rode to Gettysburg on July 4th and there were 1%ers and 3%ers at the cemetery and no trouble. however one white guy with a BLM shirt started filming people and he caused a bit of confrontation with some people in the crowd. the cops escorted him out for his actions and own safety. the media reported that it was all NAZI'S, White Supremacists, Outlaw Bikers and Militiamen that surrounded the guy. i saw what happened that's just a lie. wake up people the working class is being told a lie. the elites want racism and tensions so you're blinded by their true actions.
