    I tried my hand at making one... I wish I could share a picture but I don't know how! I love this pattern, I made one, along with a watching spoon and fork set for my friends wedding coming up this summer

    Great video! Thank you so much for sharing! How important is it to match the thickness of the kerf to the thickness of the strips? Wouldn't you get gaps otherwise?

    Bandsaw blade is very thin so you need to use very thin stripes. As thin as possible. Thicker stripes make gaps. No chance to clamp it tight. My bandsaw blade was 0.6mm and stripes 2mm or 3mm. Sorry I can not remember it. Fiitting was very tight and I had a few small gaps only
