In this season of 'Impact' video series, we will discuss some innovations that could have a positive impact on the technical education system.
Here is an interesting project that can make your presentations more interesting and lively. Learn how to make Lightboard on your own and create compelling video lectures without much post-production techniques that your students would fall in love with learning.
The overall cost of this project: Rs.3400
Stand - Rs.800
LED Strip with Adapter and Remote - Rs.350
Clear Glass 12mm 3x2 ft with rounded corners and mounting holes drill - Rs.980
Nuts and Bolts - Rs.20
Masking Tape - Rs.200
Dry Erase Markers - Rs.100
Nylon and Plastic Bush - Rs.50

    do i need to use a glow in the dark markers? or normal markers do the work?

    ​@@donal6830 Normal markers will work but creates more smudges. Try using Dry Erase markers instaed.

    @@sathyanc3960 you meant markers that have florescent dye? is your marker glow in the dark without led? because i can only find dry erase markers that have not that fluorescent feature..

    If I wanted a MEMO type lightboard and mounted it on the wall... do you see any issues with spray painting the back of the glass with a flat black paint? Wasn't sure if doing this would somehow interfere with the board working properly.

    Hi Sharat. No plexi glass is acrylic sheet (plastic) and EXTRA CLEAR glass is low iron glass. It's known as extra clear in India. To remove scratches, use colgate (white one, the regular coal gate). Put a small amount of colgate on the scratch and rub with a micro fiber cloth in circular motions. Please note that the colgate should not dry out so put a few drop pf wter to keep it moist. hope it helps, thanks :)
